Off the Rail Cafe

This is by far a MUST SEE AND EAT!! Place in anyones travels. If you like breakfast and who doesn’t, Off the Grill has it. Formed from two train cars right in the middle of the downtown area, the owner and staff are top notch!!! Food is outstanding I don’t believe you will be disappointed with anything on the menu.

This restaurant is ALWAYS busy when we come to Eldorado!! We finally got a table to experience this great restaurant.
Food was really tasty, chocolate gravy with bisuit reminded me of when I was a child....so good, with a hint of cinnamon.
Outstanding little story about this particular railcar. Take time to read on the menu....
Wait staff were so very friendly, clean restaurant. So much history here and loved how the owners showcase it.
Bacon was crisp like I requested, grits were buttery and chocolate gravy with a homemade biscuit was delish!!!

My wife loved her French Toast. My breakfast was pretty good although I wasn't a fan of their gravy. I would eat there again but I wouldn't drive 30 miles to eat there (like I did this time). One interesting thing I saw was the waitress accidentally dropped her pack of cigarettes into the iced tea pitcher. She fished the pack out and went on about her business. I would have poured it out but that's just me.

Cute lil' themed bistro in the nucleus of the town of ElDorado. Big city vibes here...which remind me of the eateries in my native Houston. Eclectic menu covers all appetites in your party and the waitress was full of bubbles and energy which my husband and I love and are sure to compensate before we leave!!! Can't wait to try another menu item.

One of the best strawberry salads I've ever had! So fresh and just the right amount of chicken, beautiful placement as well.

Very neat place to eat. Food was tasty. Very attentive server. My dish was Chicken Philly Cheesesteak with really delicious, different potato cubes, and dill pickle spear.

We were seated immediately and everyone was friendly. There were no other customers. We enjoyed the experience but a worker was cussing loudly at who we assumed was her child that had come to work with her. Very unsettling to hear that.

Visiting El Dorado and found this place on Google. Lived up to its high ratings. Tried a variety of menu items. Enjoyed the scrambler plate for protein and substance. The stuffed pancakes cream cheese frosting and fresh fruit on top was really good for those with a sweet tooth. Avocado toast for a healthier spread than something sugar-based. The bananas foster french toast with pecans had a nice southern taste to it. And if your in the mood for a sweetbread starter the orange sauce cinnamon roll. Good service. Fun atmosphere. Would go back next time we're in town.

This was 💯 % worthy I visited on Sunday around 11am 🕚 almost it’s crowded most of them are church ⛪️ visitors food was awesome and friendly staff later on thought to visit PF coffee but it’s empty though no customers finally this is the only spot with people crowded of course you can enjoy your sunny day here ….😋

Been to this little cafe twice now, the staff is Incredible, they remember you and treat you as a friend. The menu is updated and the food that was brought out was past my expectation.
I didn't pay attention to the price one bit because the experience was worth whatever they charged. This cafe is a wonderful core memory for my daughter
