Airship Coffee at The Ledger

The ledger is ANOTHER amazing addition to the Airship Fleet with it’s own style, drinks, and personality. Putting it on the rotation for my Airship Coffee Shops!

I have been a coming to airship for years. Today finally got to try the Ledger location. Great coffee of course, but major problem. If you want a coffee to go you have to pay for the cup??? You already pay 7 dollars for a coffee, now you have to pay for a cup? Love airship but please enough with trying to squeeze every penny out of your customers.

This cafe has state of the art equipment! The baristas are knowledgeable and make delicious drinks. Really enjoy how airship has taken steps to pursue sustainability and a better future through their menu and this cafe!

The barista that helped us was excellent. 5 stars. The coffee is always 5 stars at Airship. The $1.50 charge for a to go cup. 1 star. If the reasoning wasn't sustainability, I'd accept it as a 4 star. But that's the explanation, it's to encourage sustainability. So, ok, I want to be sustainable. I'll take a plant based milk alternative to cow's milk since we know cows produce methane thus leading to climate change. Oh, that's a $1 up charge to be sustainable. Yeah, so 1 star for the milk up charge, and only because for a sustainable business to encourage unsustainable cow's milk as the cheapest option is counterintuitive. 1 star. Let's be honest, reusable mugs/glasses save Airship money, as does using cow's milk vs plant based milk. The up charges are about profit, not sustainability, as if they were, the plant-based milks would be a discount and the disposable cups would be an up charge. Total stars when all green washing factors considered: 3 stars.

Modern, clean coffee shop. Perfect to grab a favorite drink and walk up the ramp and over look downtown!
