I’ve been here a few times now, it is the closest coffee shop that I can walk to in my neighborhood, they also have food, their red tamale are very good, today I learned you can get a burrito with eggs, potatoes, and cheese with a tamal INSIDE of it, this is groundbreaking to me, I mean sure there’s probably places that have done it before but I mean I’ve lived in Arizona my entire life without coming across it until now and for some reason never thought of it myself despite making all this stuff at home, and it’s fantastic, one of the best things I’ve ever eaten, just absolute legendary food, the nice thing is the red salsa is salty and the food is much less salty than the red salsa so you can adjust how much salt you want with each bite, and the red salsa is nicely flavored, I’ve also had a few lattes here and they’re good, they will enthusiastically let you order unreasonable requests such as a “dirty chai latte with pumpkin” and it will be good, that’s what I got today. As someone who lives and breathes food I highly recommend this place.

So when I went last Thursday I ordered a build your own breakfast burrito. It had potatoes, chorizo, bacon, beans grilled and wrapped in foil. To my surprise their was two burritos inside the foil. I also had a 32oz. Ice pumpkin spice coffee. I'm going again this Thursday.

First time there today, I ordered a hot pumpkin latte and the coffee was horrible. It wasn't hot, no pumpkin hints not even cinnamon, it was diluted and I paid for coconut milk as a dairy free alternative. Food was great, just expected more for the coffee!

The best chorizo burritos ever! Seriously, don’t let the lines dissuade you, Barrista del Barrio is worth the wait! I also highly recommend the Mexican chocolate coffees. All delicious!

Lovely and great customer service. Had the chorizo burritos delicious also dulcet de Leche and mazapan drinks are fire. I am sure anything else you order is delicious.

I got the soyrizo burritos and a Mexican Chocolate. Best. Flavor. Ever. I do not even care about the wait times. It is worth it. Plenty of beautiful shady places to sit. I love this place. I am glad it exists. You should go. You will not regret it.
