Let me start by saying I love chocolate. I used to work in a few different fancy chocolate places. I try chocolate places in every place I go (if available) because of that I'm picky and hard to impress.
So that being said, understand me when I tell you this place is THE BEST PLACE I'VE EVER BEEN for actual chocolate. If you're looking for fancy filled chocolates that are focused more on hand painted fruit filled chocolates, this is not that place. Though I love those places, this is completely different.
This is a place that focuses on quality chocolate that keeps to the purest chocolate experience as possible. My husband and I got the cacao experience and honestly it's worth 4x the price we paid. The lady who runs this place is filled with so much knowledge and passion for chocolate. She explained all the intricacies and steps from fruit to the chocolate you eat. It was so educational and worth WAY more than what you pay. We loved listening to her talk, you could really tell she has real true passion for chocolate and knows her stuff.
The chocolates are the most incredible texture and flavor. I would never buy a bar of chocolate out of a case because I often times find them simple/boring/basic. We got the rosemary bar and the balsamic bar AND THEY ARE OUR FAVORITES the chocolate bar has the most incredible texture that I did not expect it's true indulgence in texture and in taste. The ceremonial chocolate was so complex and wonderful, it was not overly rich and I did not get that uncomfortable sugar feeling (because they don't use white sugar here). I've never bought a better bar ANYWHERE in existence.
This place is the only place I've ever been where I feel like I experienced the true spirit of chocolate and why it means so much to so many cultures.
Thank you to the shop owner for such a beautiful experience. Thank you for sharing your heart with us.

Wanted to love this. . . I eat a low sugar diet, so I’ve had many chocolates sweetened with all different types of low calorie sweeteners. This has a very funky taste, I’m guessing because of the allulose. I got some chocolate covered item that was supposed to have peanut butter crisps, when I took out of the package to eat at home they were soggy, nothing was crispy at all. Also, the most off-putting thing to me, I got to the car and opened my box only to realize they packed the wrong truffle flavor. I went back in and the associate quickly apologized for the mistake but then took it out of my box and placed it right back in the display case to be sold to the next customer. Luckily I hadn’t touched it, but that’s just gross and really unacceptable in my opinion. I have been a waitress and I wouldn’t think of sending a recalled order that was brought back to the kitchen to a new guest. Last thing, I’m all for paying for quality, but this was just a bit excessive in my opinion $29 for 2 truffles, 3 inch by 1 inch chocolate bar and the 3 inch chocolate covered thing (that was $12.50). One thing I will say, staff was very knowledgeable and helpful, but unfortunately, I won’t be going back :(
**edit** thank you for the reply, the way you’ve addressed this says a lot about you as a business owner. I appreciate you passion for the business, I wish I could have spoken to you as well. I can definitely taste the quality of cocoa, but it just gets masked by the “sugar” substitute sweeteners. I wish I could have the quality chocolate without the allulose taking away from the deep cocoa flavor. I do live a bit of a drive from your shop so unfortunately I will not be headed back to Sedona to return chocolate.

A gem of a find we stumbled into! If you love Chocolate you won’t want to miss out on the amazing options of fine Brazilian chocolates and drinkable options! You will be greeted with huge smiles and warm sips of delightful pleasure!

This is a “must visit” for me every time I’m in the area! The complexity of tastes and countless flavor options is one of my most favorite reasons to visit… my last trip included a peppermint cream (the center was so very light and refreshingly smooth), a balsamic infused chocolate bar, a crunch bar that didn’t make it out the door (totally spectacular) and a “best selling” peanut butter bar that totally did not disappoint! I wish that I had known how good that pb bar was going to be…. I would have purchased more! The texture was amazing and the peanut butter was on point! The only thing better than the chocolate treats was the passion of the owner! It’s a small space, but she make it a point to make everyone feel welcome and divide her attention to each and every customer….. can’t wait to stop by again!

Friends from Sedona took me to this truly hidden gem in Sedona. Being an IT management consultant in Switzerland, I had some of the big names in the business among my customers. Their products are undeniably great - but Living Chocolate is different: handmade, creative and with nothing but the best ingredients. You can feel and taste their passion with every bite. Products like their "healthy version of Snickers" will make your taste buds smile :-) I've definitely put Living Chocolate on my list of "Must Do's" for my future visits to Sedona. Highly recommended!!!

She ruined my life with the best espresso ever! How am I ever going to find another like this? So delicious! I seriously doubt anyone will ever compare. She explains everything with passion and knowledge, im so happy we stopped by to try all the delicious chocolates and espresso! None of the chocolate has white sugar and it is extremely pure! Do yourself a favor and stop by for a real treat! Thank you Shari!

This place is soooo small, really has nothing sweet and is extremely overpriced and doesn’t take good. Friends said they feel This place is Trying too hard. There’s so much to say but I don’t want to be disrespectful. If you are ordering for more than one person expect to spent more than $50. Also saw a review about how they were fighting over the toilet after this place and that totally tracks. Everybody has been running to the toilet after going there. Respectfully, 0 stars.

Yo, our coffee drinks had colostrom, breast milk, in it? and the viscosity was reminiscent of liquid egg yolk. At least egg yolks taste like egg yolks. What were these gut busters trying to do? My wife and I are fighting over the toilet. I'm down to try anything and have never been charged $28 for anything more despicable in my life and I've paid for two tickets to see Paul Blart Mall Cop.. Also, why do you have to weigh out ingredients in an eight fl ounce cup? My stomach hurts, my Friday is broken, and my soul is crushed. Guy working was chill af tho.

We walked in and then walked back out. The selection was attractive for sure but not "mega bakery" style selections. The owners are obviously targeting a specific clientele and "normal" families aren't it. This was high-scale for sure; and our family is more mainstream. Our initial greeting was nice enough. She was polite and professional. The fact she even greeted us at all speaks well these days. It was the message that lost us. “Welcome, nothing we have is made with white sugar.” The expression on my wife's face was priceless.
It’s CHOCOLATE … WE WANT SUGAR!!! I'd give it a try had anything jumped out at me. All of it was a bit frou-frou for us. If you own a yacht or come to Sedona routinely, maybe this will be the place for you.
That said, we moved next door and got some amazing ice cream ... with sugar. LOL

I have been using their Ceremonial Grade Cacao from Belize in my ceremonies for over a year now and it is the absolute best in the industry. The quality is A+++ and the feedback I've received from my attendees experiences with it have been fenomenal. Truly what the Mayans referred to when they said it was the Food of the Gods!
