One of the best coffeehouses I have ever been to, they roast their own beans for a great cup. Family owned and and operated, they show you how much they appreciate your business on every visit. Give it a try and Lifeboat boat will be your favorite too.

Disappointed with both blends of coffee ordered online. I’m always looking for new sources of really good coffee and was looking forward to trying Life Boat.

I was surprised when I opened the first bag (Admiral’s Blend) and there was no aroma - only an acidic smell . Ground in a burr grinder and brewed in a Zojirushi machine. Still zero aroma. Taste was ok but totally lacking the smell of brewed coffee.

Tried the 2nd bag (Port of Pearl Harbor) with same results. NO aroma). I hope this was a bad batch. Really expected more.

If you live in the area and are a dark roast person you'll enjoy.

If you're a light roast specialty coffee person traveling looking for a cool coffee shop, I don't recommend it.

For the area it's a good start, but this shop needs improvement. This place has to up it's game if it wants to be counted amoung the 5 star specialty roasters. That said it is, a good option compared to most places in this area of town.

The Guatamalain I had was heavy on paper flavors from the coffee flavor wheel. Some people don't notice this flavor, but it is a pet peeve of mine.

The store needs to be remodeled and is pretty make shift, but I understand it takes time and money to get there and given his low prices, it makes sense for the area. I give it one star above average because of this and the owner roasts his own.

I wish the owner the best. If this shop had been in Seattle, Santa Cruz, or Denver it would have received a lower score. I understand that he has to deal with a market that favors Starbucks and Dutch Bros so he can't diverge too far from the tastes of those pallets. Thus I would be remiss to knock what he's doing for the area.

Nice little coffee shop that offers an exotic variety of flavors. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

You have to come here on St. Patrick’s Day and try the amazing traditional St. Patty’s dinner that John makes from scratch! It’s the best I’ve ever had! Not to mention the Irish coffe! Omg soooooo GOOD!!!

Just moved to the area. Came across this place on a Google search and hopped in my car on a whim. Less than a mile away but I would drive across town for it. The owner is really nice, and it's such a cute place. And a steal!

What a wonderful coffee shop. The coffee is great and the people are wonderful. Not sure I understand the negative reviews except for the fact someone is trying to make a political statement which is totally unacceptable. This is a Pro-life coffee shop where ALL life is cherished. Not sure how you can give a negative review unless you're just trying to be mean. Anyway, I drink their coffee and it's awesome!

Best service in town.

The breakfast sandwiches and burritos are amazing!

Each time I walk in, the entire place smells like freshly roasted coffee and John is there waiting to say Hello.
