Very welcoming as soon as we walked in, plenty of options on the menu. Opted for the Iced Latte almost went for the bulletproof have to try that next time. Great tasting latte and for 2 xtra lag great price. While in Phoenix for convention this will be our spot for a brew.

Great vibe and friendly service. Very good coffee, espresso, teeats, and food. Inside and outside seating available. Would definitely recommend this place for a quick coffee or a sit down and chill!

Love the colors and the open space. Even in quarantine (2020 COVID-19) the place felt like there were a decent bit of people in there, yet a lot of available spots to sit! WiFi and outlets throughout.
Owner is a pretty cool dude, friendly and seems to like talking to people which I love (I’ve been 3 times). The other dude who wasn’t Australian was super nice as well. But on my third visit, there was a gal at the register who seemed rather annoyed that I wanted “light ice light milk” and that my buddy wanted to know what beans and syrups they use. It was kinda off-putting.
The drinks are decent. I always disclaim my drink opinion with the fact that I am rather “third wave,” meaning I dig super specialty/artisanal/craft espresso, and this didn’t super feel to be that way; little more generic. But for the people they serve, that’s totally acceptable (mostly college students given the location).
They serve food which I unfortunately did not get to try, we just stopped for drink.

Again though, if you’re looking to get some work done at a bright and vibey place, def hit it up

A fabulous place to either grab a cup of the best coffee in Pheonix or enjoy something from the menu for either breakfast lunch or dinner.
The breakfast burrito was outstanding as indeed were the scrambled eggs.
Tristan and Mike as the owners are the perfect hosts supported by some great staff.
Tristan comes from Canberra Australia while Mike comes from New York - a great combination of nationalities producing a unique style and ambience.
Very much worth the trip downtown to experience the place.

Check out the best place to go for coffee if you're in downtown Phoenix! The service is amazing - make sure to say hi to Lea and Cass - and the food is spectacular I recommend the chicken panini and of course the coffee is outstanding!! They also have smoothies and baked goods and lots of other yummy options....the chocolate chip scones and chocolate cream cheese muffins are to die for...coverd parking and lots of comfy places to sit and enjoy board games or chess or just hanging out make this a great place to come and enjoy your day! They even have sidewalk seating if you want to be outside.

Great coffee and food, but deducted a star because they are very slow.

Really love this spot to relax and study with friends, and the selection of coffees and teas are excellent, but lately the music has been so loud that it feels like I'm in a nightclub at times. Had to leave one morning because I couldn't hear the music playing through my headphones. Definitely will try to come again a few more times to see if the issue resolves itself because the location is convenient and the atmosphere is wonderful.

It is a cool place. Clean and bright. Quiet. I have only been there once, so we will see next time what happens. The Cafe Carmel Iced is good. The muffins snd pastries looked good and fresh.

I just discovered this place near the Downtown ASU campus. It's fantastic! Great service and good tea!! As a tea drinker that's rare to find in a coffee shop. Lots of seating and food offered, but I didn't try any of it. Will definitely be heading back here when I need to cram for finals.
