Wanted to verge out during an extended break between classes, and I’m so glad I came across this coffee house. Delicious drinks, great atmosphere, and I love that they feature local artists and sell their work on their walls. Will definitely return.

Great local coffee house. The atmosphere is relaxed and if you want something unique just talk to the barista. Small and tasty menu of food to accompany your beverage. My go to before or after shopping, or just because.

Very nice little coffee shop with a good mix of tables and chairs and some comfy couches. Good outlet access for laptops and other devices, and speedy internet, also. Very friendly baristas behind the counter. This is my first time here, and I'm enjoying the iced coffee, but it's rather weak for my taste, as I enjoy a darker/bolder roast. 4/5 stars.

No masks are worn by the staff!!! Not safe!!! If mask cant be worn use a face shield or other alternatives to keep customers safe please, please stop putting your patrons in danger.
Male employee still not wearing a mask as people keep dying of COVID in Arizona. I love this coffee shop. Or used to love it when the clerk was different.
The previous female clerk/co-owner was so polite and nice but yesterday I went in and there was a male employee. He was making my drinks and breathing on my drink after interacting with many customers. Is it not required for employees in food related places to wear masks?
Please please have your workers wear masks, otherwise I feel anxious in consuming or even entering this coffee shop.
Edit: That study you cited, did you read it? It was published in error and the correction reads on pg.1263: "contact with persons with known COVID-19 or going to locations that offer on-site eating and drinking options were associated with COVID-19 positivity. Adults with positive
SARS-CoV-2 test results were approximately twice as likely to
have reported dining at a restaurant than were those with negative SARS-CoV-2 test results."
This means going to your coffee shop according to the article YOU provided makes us twice as likely to get COVID IF as you said masks are worn. There is no misinformation, many others also said this: HE IS NOT WEARING A MASK! Why not own up to it and fix it saying more strict measures will be taken to make sure employees do wear masks? Make us feel safe if you want positive reviews. I want to return to the shop I loved when its safe to do so.

Not a good visit. The lady with the black hair was very rude and got smart with me because I asked for a little sweetener to the coffee. The cold brew tastes like water. The customer service is bad.

Love Black Cat! Everywhere else tastes sad compared to here. Friendly staff, great atmosphere. Love it for meeting up with friends or snuggling up with a book. Best coffee shop in Phoenix!

I was In for a cup of Joe and had a great blueberry muffin. The Barista was very courteous and helpful. I am new to the neiborhood and I believe in supporting Arizona locally owned businesses and hope others will come to this comfortable coffee house and make choose this place to hang with friends, make new friends or just hang alone for some comfortable alone time. Try the Black Cat Coffee House and support independently local business!!

Probably one if the best small coffee shop in the Valley. Easily a better alternative to Starbucks. The owners and team are extremely friendly and customer service oriented. And I believe they live in the neighborhood. I’ve had their Nitro Coffee, Chai Tea latte, Cold Brew, Smoothies, and Italian Sodas. All exactly what I needed on those respective days.
Great place to get work done, have coffee meetings, or just use their WiFi.
