Hidden gem for sure. Every week I try a new coffee shop to support the locals. I recommend to every local to come check this place out

Chill spot for pour overs, cortados, and macchiatos that don't come in grande size.

This place is a definite hidden gem.

Staff was friendly and helped as I explained it was my first visit. He went over some of the favorites and I went with the Klassen, a seasonal drink. (Blackberries, Mint, Espresso & Tonic over Ice.) The drink was made with precision and care. While I wanted to try something totally new to me, it will not become my go to style for coffee.

Driftwood definitely does not rely heavily on sugar and instead goes the route of character, uniqueness and an apparent appreciation for the coffee bean.

I will certainly be returning.

Have been on a coffee kick, tried Moxie and Peixoto this weekend. Got the drip coffee at each spot. Wanted to support a local shop near me on the Westside so stopped by Driftwood. Barista didn't seem too welcoming when I entered. He was late to greet me even though no one else was in line. Then he just placed my drink on the side with no thank you or pleasantries. Also, when I ordered the drip coffee at the other shops it was made to order and prepared in front of me. At Driftwood it was already in a coffee pot like I ordered it at Dennys or Ihop. Have been here a few times in the past and had pretty good experiences, but this visit was definitely subpar

Ordered 2 coffees and a burrito. Coffees came out first. Waited around 10 mins for a burrito. Notice that the over priced microwave burrito only takes them a minute In the microwave to heat up During my 10 minute wait. They took several orders. So I don't understand why he could throw the burrito in while taking other orders. Also when he finally got around to heating up my over priced burrito. He didn't wash his hands🤮. At this point I was grossed out after he was touching dirty money then my food. So disgusting. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN AND WILL TELL EVERYONE E ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE. Btw I never got my burrito or money back. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Great coffee and friendly peeps in quant, historic downtown Peoria coffee shop. Creative menu, small eats, and locally roasted beans. Displaying AZ local art available for purchase. If you're down in PHX they're also set up currently in the music venue The Rebel Lounge. Check them out!

Really wanted to love this place because it is local, I went in and I tried to get one of the baristas to give me some good advice regarding drinks, and the customer service definitely lacked. There were three people standing around and not one of them really gave off the impression that they cared we were even there. That's unfortunate because I was trying to find something unique and exciting in a coffee that is not Starbucks, but as a local coffee shop, if your aim is to compete against those guys, it all starts with customer service which we did not get. Beyond that, The drinks that we ordered were not made well, they lacked a lot of flavor although they were unique, so maybe a little bit more r&d would be in order. The funny thing about reviews is that you want to be honest without being harsh, and what feedback I would give is that you have to make customers feel welcome most importantly, but beyond that really try your own drinks and ask yourself if this is something that is lights out. Because as a coffee shop you are competing with other drink makers that are trying to make everything lights out, and if your stuff is just okay and your local, it's going to be very hard to grow that footprint. Randomly found this place one night. Glad to see a boutique coffee shop open late. Very tasty iced coffee. Barista was a little awk but overall a cute place
