Good coffee and very friendly and chatty staff! One of the owners was there and he recommended the Lobos (drink named after him) and I really enjoyed it. I usually stick to more basic coffee drinks but this was a nice treat on a hot day! I chose oat milk in my iced Lobos but kept the whip. It was fun to look at and tasted great! Next time I want to try their cold brew! They recently expanded and are in the process of renovating the larger space.

Hidden gem! Costa Rican inspired coffee shop. Had it not been for a receptionist making a DoorDash order I never would have found this place.

On the outside, the signage is very simple, “Coffee.” The inside, however tells a different story.

I ordered a hot 16 oz oat milk pumpkin spice latte that cost $6. It was exactly what I wanted.

There have two small tables outside to sit at and a table inside should you choose to stay and drink your coffee.

I love to support local and small businesses. Stop by and give them a try.

We have been regulars here for years and will never go anywhere else. The coffee is sourced from Costa Rica. It is THE best coffee we’ve ever had. This family owned business is passionate about sharing Costa Rican culture through coffee. Delicious! Friendly! Home away from home! The highest quality!

I highly recommend this place!! The girls that were working were super friendly. They interacted with my daughter and everyone else around! Coffee was the best coffee I have tasted in a LONG time. They Definitely have a customer for life! ☕️🇨🇷

The team at Pura Vida was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered a cappuccino, one Happy Bun, a Lobos, and a raspberry scone. The cappuccino had good flavor, the weight was in point, but the presentation could improve. The Lobos was fantastic. However, I customized it with two extra shots and went easy on the caramel. The scone and Happy Bun were mad delicious. I would certainly recommend Pura Vida should you find yourself in East Mesa.

Service was AMAZING as was the coffee! I got an iced vanilla latte and a brown sugar/cinnamon latte and both were perfect! My sister and dad got cherry limeade and ocean runner which they thought were fantastic

A nice little coffee shop. They close early, so if I'm in the area I stop and pick up something delicious. They don't use high fructose corn syrup. Very pleasant customer service.

This is my absolute favorite coffee shop around. The drinks are always spot on and they have bottles of cold brew at an amazing price that are the perfect for at home. Amazing customer service and amazing products. They have adorable additional products for sale and also do a loyalty card of buy 10, get one free that works at the HQ and at their mobile trucks. Great variety of teas and other drinks for kids and non coffee drinkers, too! Be sure to check social media for any specials!

This Gnetleman and his wife both came to my work in their coffee truck and served all the EMT's and the mechanics coffee here at AMR. The coffee is delicious and the both of them are super kind. Would highly recommend trying!
