The problem with a lot of trendy places like Press Coffee is that they use coffee that has a weird almost instant coffee aftertaste. The hip crowd places like Black Rock are too sugary. Pair nails it. Just the right amount of coffee taste, great syrup that is not too sugary, and just enough caffeine to make the trip worthwhile. Decent prices and the people seem pretty legit. Highly recommended.

Fantastic espresso shop with traditional style cappuccino and exemplary attitude. I made this my regular place each morning and by the second day the barista remembered me and my order. Great space on an early Mesa morning.

The BEST latte I have ever had. Beats any chain coffee shop by far. I can only order hot coffee, and as a result often have to wait for it to cool off to drink, but this latte came out the perfect drinking temperature. The Spiced Bourbon and Caramel flavor is phenomenal and the perfect fall beverage and has erased pumpkin spice from my mind entirely. Also tried my boyfriend’s matcha latte and it was AMAZING, perfectly blended. Will be back again and again.

This is the place. No other place remotely comes close to the amazing selection, brew and taste of coffee. The owner is fantastic, knowledgeable and willing to walk you through each of the unique coffee characteristics. Get the ice flashed cold brew, best I’ve ever had anywhere!!

Pair is one of my favorite independent coffee shops. Kim pours a terrific cup of coffee and is great with the latte art. I've tried everything from cold brew to hot drinks, including seasonal specials. I’ve also enjoyed several teas. My husband and I regularly buy bags of beans so we can have Pair at home, too.

Bonus points for Eugenia's cute, amazing illustrations that you'll find on the bags of coffee, T-shirts, and stickers. She's super talented! Extra bonus points for Pair introducing us to Cider Corps and Myke's Pizza, which we now love.

If you haven’t tried Pair, you’re missing out.

Pair is easily one of the best coffee shops in the country. The shops owner and barista is one of the coolest guys and he personally selects, roasts, and brews all his coffee. This shop is a must-try if you are in the downtown Mesa area and you enjoy coffee or tea at all. The location is great too - it’s inside of cider corps and next to myke’s pizza. It’s a fun place to hang out for a late morning on the weekend.

KimHawk and team are very passionate in their craft and I am happy they are here! Definitely got me curious in tea from the different offerings they have. Also the bean selection is incredible. Got a bag of beans that blew me away on how fruity and floral a cup of coffee could taste! All top notch here.

The owners, Eugenia and Kimhak, are amazing people and have cultivated a great atmosphere for enjoying quality specialty coffee and tea. They are both knowledgeable in their craft and are always helpful and willing to share their knowledge and passion with all those who cross paths with them. Always an enjoyable time!
