Mythical Coffee

mythical is one of my favorite local coffee shops. their pour-overs are amazing and their uniquely crafted drinks are so fun! with such good coffee, service, and atmosphere, mythical attracts people from tempe, phoenix, and beyond.

I have tried both their latte and their cold brew both were superb. I really enjoyed their honey cinnamon sweetener!
They even have curbside pickup available if you prefer not to come in 👍

Delicious coffee! Fresh roasted beans are amazing. All house made syrups are great and they have cool and unique drinks. Definitely make the stop at Mythical! 10/10 highly recommend

I’ve had Mythical beans at a local shop but absolutely loved my first in person visit. From the minimalistic clean look to the friendly and informative baristas it was great. Coffee was on point. Shot of espresso was not only delicious to taste but also presented so well. Americano was good and so was their signature sage honey latte. Pastry selection was also worth the adventure... strawberry chocolate cookie was so good there wasn’t time to even take its picture 😆

If you’re east of Phoenix then this is worth the visit.

I love this coffee. Smoother taste than any other coffee place around. Their latte paired with their cinnamon coffee cake is divine. The service is sweet and the environment is calming and quite lovely.

It's the best coffee spot in Gilbert. The drinks are wonderful, the pastries are delicious, and the staff is delightful. Their ever rotating seasonal menu is always full of new and exciting coffee combinations.

5 stars. (Previous review from 3 years ago). Today, 3 stars. The staff is very nice. Also I still like to buy beans here. Two improvement ideas: 1) the milk was changed, allow the option to order a cappuccino with Danzeisen milk(or similar), like before. My last couple cappuccinos were not as good. 2) I love coffee but need to keep my sugar levels down. Always offer a couple rotating specials that get flavor in other ways/are low sugar.

EDIT: 1 year later... and still my favorite coffee shop hands down. Keep up the great work!

Original Post: Awesome coffee, great atmosphere, and passionate staff. These are all words I'd use to describe Mythical Coffee. They're a primarily online roaster turned local favorite shop for me. So happy and excited that a great craft coffee shop has opened up in the Gilbert area. Stop in and say hi and I'm sure you'll leave with a smile and an amazing cup of coffee.

If you like good espresso then I recommend the One & One or the Cortado (or of course their espresso)!

The atmosphere is awesome and the baristas are really helpful. We love coming here for a relaxing morning coffee.
The oat milk lattes are great and they have some interesting specialty/seasonal coffee creations too.
The flowers they had on Valentine’s Day made my wife very happy!

What can I say that can adequately put into words how amazing this place is. I just don’t think I can get close to describing how phenomenal my drink is every time I go. How beautiful and consistent they create the drinks. That’s exactly how you do it in this business. The baristas have a great vibe and awesome customer connections. The place is very hip and fun. It’s always busy when I go. We really value this place a lot in my household. I wish there was a closer one to my house so we could go more often.
