Great vibe and friendly staff. Latte had excellent coffee flavor and was not overpowered by sugary syrup. Baked goods were very tasty as well! Will definitely be back whenever I’m in a Dewey/Prescott area!

It was fun to see that he roasts his own beans. A wide variety of flavors. Something that is not always talked about at a coffee shop is the restroom. But as a mom of two little ones, it was nice to know they have a clean restroom and it is family style.

MC&D is a welcoming and warm place with amazing coffee (local coffee!!) and great handmade gifts to support local talent. The team are not there to sell you anything but offer you a friendly suggestion and it’s so refreshing to meet a business who cares. Willing to accommodate my dietary needs and gave me something which wasn’t even on the menu!

But let’s not mess around. I went there for the coffee, I loved it so much I bought another one to go!!!

Amazing people making great coffee and food. It’s great to have this so close to home. Ashley puts here heart and soul into everything she makes and does an incredible job.

Stopped in for a sandwich and coffee on Saturday. Best sandwich I have had since moving here in April. The toppings were so fresh and the bread was so flavorful and perfectly toasted. The artichoke hearts with the fresh mozzarella was a perfect combo with the deli meat. I had a sugar free hazelnut cold brew and that was the perfect amount of sweetness. I bought the cutest little cactus and air plant for my office too! The barista and owner treat you like you have been friends for years and really make you feel welcome. I can’t wait to go back again.

I had been on a quest to find a flavorful cup of coffee. I drink mine black, so the coffee itself needs to stand out - not the flavored creams and syrups in so many of the popular concoctions. I tried the "house drip" and found it a bit weak and a bit cold but tolerable. Ashley came over to my seat and asked me how the coffee was and I gave her an honest answer. She insisted on making me a pour over more to my liking.
She has since "tuned" the proportions of coffee and water to what I believe is perfect and has even replaced the house brew pot with a smaller one to keep the contents hotter.
No need to continue my quest. I have found my perfect coffee.

Smell amazing, friendly service, and perfect coffee. I tried the iced mocha with coconut flavor. Heavenly! I hope to come again. A must visit coffee spot!

Haven't even had a chance to step in to Modern Coffee & Deli and I'm already a fan!

We just moved to Dewey and found this absolute GEM of a coffee shop/bakery!!! We got 4 different coffees, a chorizo burrito bowl, two different breakfast sandwiches, and some coffee cake and when I tell you that it was all amazing 👏 you need to go here! The staff is friendly, quick and patient! The design inside is beautiful, I can totally see this as being a great work spot and they have free wifi. Love this place, will for sure be back...Oh and they have a drive through!!!

I love this coffee shop. She makes the best Americano, I can't think of a better one in the greater Prescott area. And her mocha has a richer chocolate flavor. I wish she had a patio for summertime, but there's nowhere she can put tables.
