Excellent coffee and tasty breakfast options (they serve lunch as well) abound at this welcoming Seward coffee house. Locals and tourists come to enjoy the delicious offerings. Try the baked oatmeal along with any of their specialty hot and cold drinks!

We got here a little before 8am on the 4th of July and the rush happened around 8:15am, I'm talking like a like out the door, FYI! They have gluten free bread and pastries! The sandwich was huge. No complaints.

We were visiting Seward for 3 days and just had to return for breakfast one more time before we left because we enjoyed it so much. Excellent food, friendly service, and a clean and comfortable setting make this place an exceptional choice for breakfast or lunch. Our favorite dishes were the baked oatmeal and the breakfast burrito. Delicious!

Seward’s Sea Bean is a cute little breakfast/lunch/ brunch place with fun lattes and tasty food! I got a healthy smoothie bowl with fruit and also the oatmeal. I was delighted by how good the food was and the flavors as well! I will let you in on a secret I learned- they sell their “day old” pastries- which were fresh and tasted normal to me- at $2/ pastries. It was the best hiking snack ever! They are wrapped up and the Nutella croissant was huge and filled to the brim! It was the best thing ever!!! Anyway, highly recommend!!! 10/10 would go back!

My husband and I paid $48 plus $5 tip for a panini and a Buddha bowl, along with two americanos. The coffee was cold. The Buddha bowl had a hug scoop of white rice, three chunks of sweet potato, 3 thin slices of avocado and about 15 spinach leaves. The lime sauce was left off snd so we asked for that. I was provided about a tablespoon of dressing. No silverware was provided. We had to get our own coffee and silverware from the counter. We could overhear other customers talking about their coffee being cold. Really dissatisfied and disappointed with the service and quality of the food. The cheese on my husbands bacon panini was cold and it wasn’t bacon slices it was more like ground bacon plopped in the center of the bread.

This was a wonderful little place tucked away in Seward that my fiance and I enjoyed recently. The staff are friendly and helpful, and are willing to go out of their way to be accommodating for customers. However, with delicious popularity inevitably comes with long wait times, but yes it is worth the wait. The food was slightly wanting salt, but did not lack flavor. The coffee and ice chai we ordered were both excellent; the coffee was strong and rich without being acidic and the chai was flavorful without having the watery quality of a poorly made drink. They also have a unique variety of loose leaf tea selections that look delicious and I look forward to trying in the future. There is ample parking around the cafe and it is located only a brief walk from the Sea Life Center while still being right in the heart of the shops, bar, and restaurant area. Definitely the best place to get breakfast in Seward, you would be remiss to not take av quick moment to stop by and get a drink, either alcoholic or non-alcoholic.

Seasonal worker here looking forward to enjoying coffee shops and tipping well. Ordered a hot chocolate, which which was like hot water and milk with very little chocolate cocoa in it. Very bland and not enjoyable. Cafe has Nice decor. Cashier quoted higher price. 3.84 vs, correct 3.48, when I politely questioned it, she responded, "you really called me out on that"....Huh? Go to Art Rsurrect Cafe instead. Drinks are too pricey to take a chance on something that's not enjoyable to drink.

If you're looking for a hot tea, pastry, traditional coffee, or something outrageously unique (Maple Bacon Latte) then you need to visit Sea Bean Cafe.

I prefer drip coffee over a latte any day, however Sea Bean Cafe was serving a Maple Bacon Latte the day I visited. How could I pass this opportunity? Real pieces of bacon are in the latte, so I was literally drinking and eating breakfast at the same time. A Canadian Heaven.
