This modest coffee shop is an absolute treat in Homer. Beautiful product, their coffees are so good.

Without a doubt, this is the best coffee shop in Homer, and most likely even AL ;)… and I’m a coffee connoisseur! Single origin beans, roasted in house, give the espresso an eclectic flavor palate. At the time of visiting, it was a Kenyan bean that had hints of vanilla and plum. The avocado toast is really delicious also. Awesome and knowledgeable staff. All around 5-star experience!

Ano Kissaten is easily the best coffee in Alaska that I’ve had. I’ve had coffee from Fairbanks to Seward, Anchorage, Homer and other places and this is easily the best craft coffee I’ve had. Most places I’ve been to in Alaska roast on the darker side of specialty but the coffee at Ano Kissaten is on point and the owner was very hospitable. Their pour over presentation is particularly impressive as well. If you’re going through the Homer area you must stop.

The best pour over coffee that we had in all of Alaska! There was so much care and attention poured in each of our cups, and you could taste it. We are serious coffee lovers (we roast at home) so finding this place was a big highlight of our trip.

Great technique for making milk espresso drinks, without burning the milk!! Nice and smooth cappuccino foam. The coffee flavor itself was not my favorite, tasted somehow burnt.

Delicious espresso. I’m told the baked items are delicious - they were out of gluten free items so I was unable to partake of their deliciousness.

Best coffee I've ever had in Homer. I used to go to Kbay and thought I'd never get decent coffee in town again when they closed. I'm so glad I found Ano Kissaten!! Consistently great!

Justice and Alex know what they're doing to make the most delicious cup of coffee you'll ever have. Clean, brightly lit coffee shop. Delicious baked (in house) treats and filling, cheesy breakfast burritos.

A cute coffee shop with excellent coffee and with a quiet space to enjoy it. The Avocado Millennial toast was excellent, highly recommended.

Friendly establishment and yummy coffee! Their syrups are packed with flavor, but not overly sweet so you can enjoy the coffee. Excited to see this business grow!
