I love the smell and fresh baked goods and freshly roasted coffee - my favorite thing to get here is their quiche and creme brûlée. Great spot to work, study, or meet a friend.

My husband always comes here for his coffee beans.
I decided to try my all time favorite white chocolate mocha...not impressed...glad I only had a 12 oz.
We did have a very pleasant young lady serve us...and we were very challenging as Bob was purchasing for is trip to MN.

Excellent coffee and food. Must try cinnamon roll

Alaska Coffee Roasting Company is a great place to go to visit with a friend and enjoy some amazing local coffee. Glance across their dining room and you will see a diverse crowd of people, ranging from the hip college crowd to the contemporary elderly. Everyone is enjoying every aspect of their visit. Definitely a place I recommend for dates, casual meetings, or just wanting a good cup of coffee or tea, and possibly a desert.

This Cafe has a wide variety of drinks and snacks. They serve many pastries and treats but also serve brick oven made pizza! Stop in for a Tanned Carmel Mocha and a Champagne Pizza! You will never regret coming here to study or have a nice chat.

Drive through and sit down cafe! I bring my dog on walks and we order from the drive through then sit outside. They roast their own beans here and their stone oven pizza is good. The menu has many usual cafe options and some gourmet ones as well. Many locals love ACRC because of free wifi with purchase, cozy seating area, and clean restrooms.

Outrageous prices, food choices were inadequate for the time of day. We went there thinking we could get dinner, but the only choices were some kind of cold salad and pizza that was reheated in the oven.
The location of this cafe is tucked away in a plaza which is not convenient for a quick stop. There should be some booths and larger tables.

The service was quick, and the chicken pot pie was AMAZING

Great food, great coffee but.....well there's no other way to say it. Its not a great place for POC. My SO used to have weekly meetings there with her Prof about their research. And she started noticing that everyone would stare at them(her). He prof also noticed it. I told her, forget about the customers as long as the staff are ok, they deserve our custom. But then we realized that the staff was quite abrasive to us as well and one time a cashier was quite rude to me, treating me like I was stupid and didn't understand English. I couldn't put my finger on it, you know when your brain is just trying to figure out "Did that just happen?". But the staff in front of the oven noticed it too and made small pleasantries to placate me, I guess. After that we stopped going there and my SO and her prof started going to College coffee house. Later on we found that other POC including A Natives have had worse experience. The only ones that didn't say anything were the Asian groups that met there over the weekend.
As I said the place was nice in terms of food and coffee. I miss their moose meat pockets and oven pizzas but I can't give my business to a place that so openly makes POC feel unwelcomed. But then again this is one family's experience and it is Anecdotal so do take it as such. If you are a POC and have had a good experience, more power to you. But if your experience has not be good/similar to mine and so many others, well you can make the choice too.

A shame the macchiato didn’t look anything like the pictures in your review section. Obviously someone knows how to make a proper drink, but not working today. I will come back in hopes of finding the right barista.
