I am thankful for Rush because it's not only the sole drive-thru coffee bistro on base, but also because it is fabulous. I love the Rush freeze. It's like a frappucino:) My kiddos love the milkshakes and smoothies. All of the paninis I've tried are so yummy. If you live on base and need to treat yourself, this is the best around. Lines move quickly and orders are always perfect and correct.
Rush Coffee on Eielson. Staff are always fast and friendly. Coffee is "ok", often tastes slightly burnt. But im very picky about my Coffee, this is no worse (or better) than starbucks. Food is generally good. Bagels are hard to screw up. The breakfast burritos would be excellent, but the egg is overcooked most of the time. Has a strong flavor that's mildly unpleasant. Not so bad that you dont eat it, but bad enough that you're not excited about it. If Eielson had more options, I'd probably not return, but as is ill go back for a bagel from time to time.
Great little coffee shop on base. The staff is super nice and friendly. Being that it’s a small drive through coffee shop definitely expect some wait time. They tried to mitigate the wait and open two lanes on either side but there’s still a wait. Price is very affordable and actually tastes great!
Don't know what all the complaints about the service are all about. It's literally 3 ladies in a trailer with 2 windows. Can't expect miracles. Never tried the coffee but the other drinks are good and you have to try pretty hard to mess up a sandwich. Plus the young lady with the rainbow hair is just a joy to be around.
Customer service is non-existent. Just spent 15 minutes waiting and not a single vehicle has made it through my line. Slow, even by Alaska standards. Why not have a line for drinks only, so everyone doesn’t have to wait for the truck with 6 people all ordering breakfast sandwiches?!? Bring back Sunrise!
To the owner who responded: I love how your solution is to provide excuses and just ignore your substandard service. I guarantee you that 3 cars DID NOT make it through my line in the time I was there. Your data is somehow seriously flawed! Maybe you should go wait in your own line one morning and see what everyone else has to deal with.
Gets things done as fast as the government does. Equal or Greater than Sunrise bagels quality wise. Same fake eggs. Variety is quite refreshing. Quality you would expect from most coffee stands. Hot wet sandwiches with lots and lots and lots of cheese. Typical Coffee stand nothing special.
I'm all for a change. This change was tough tho' being a regular customer of Sunrise. I like the variety of foods offered and the staff is always very pleasant. I don't care for the taste of the drip coffee (it could be me), and the temperature in which they served it at (several times, like almost warm). And I think most of all, being on Eielson AFB, there are a lot of coffee drinkers and morning people. The wait in line takes a while. I'm not complaining, for now I get my coffee at Salcha general store. Please consider my comments as I would like to frequent your business because it is closer and more convenient. Thank you.
Their bagels are so so good, as well as their paninis. The smoothies are also very yummy! Definitely try it out when you have the time. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Best place for coffee, constantly busy because it's one of the few good options, great baristas and good special options.

Quant little spot with great service, hot coffee and good food. Be prepared, the menu is overwhelming for new visitors. Tons of options.
