let me clarify by first saying that i 1000% understand the frustration when customers come by last minute before closing, but that does NOT mean you treat the customer in a rude manner. especially when customer service is quite literally your jobs main concern and not just making good coffee. a friend of mine stopped by this evening, mistakenly right before closing, and the person who was working made it pretty clear that they were not happy about it. when it came to paying, my friend found your punch card, that you guys provide to your customers, and noticed they had a free drink, the worker then made a snarky remark along the lines of “of course a free bee” MIND YOU, my friend was still willing to leave a tip for the worker for making their drink but, unfortunately came to realization that they did not have any cash on them and they genuinely felt bad for the situation and proceeded to ask if they could leave a tip on card and the worker responded with “nope.” in a very rude tone. my friend was caught off guard with the workers rude attitude and decided to take their free drink and leave. in which now they are not feeling bad anymore because of the way your worker decided to treat them. works hard, works stressful and can be very draining but that doesn’t mean just because you’re having a bad day or your close to closing or the end of your shift, you get to be rude to your customers. fairly, in my opinion, rude/awful customer service = no tip, because you never know who you’re dealing with and they could’ve been a generous person and gave you a super nice tip if you weren’t rude, used a different tone in voice, or chose different wording.
I absolutely LOVE this little coffee hut. If I lived here in Eagle River, this would be my regular go-to place. Employees are upbeat, friendly, and lively. The prices are extremely reasonable. If I could pack y'all up and take you back to Missouri, I would! 😊
Love this place!! Got a 16 ounce vanilla latte for under $4. The value is incredible and the coffee is delicious. Their coffee is smooth and super tasty. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Quick, wonderful value and amazing coffee!
They roast their own beans and it shows! Great drip coffee and great espresso. The lines always look long but the girls in there move them through fast.
Best coffee I’ve had in eagle river! I’ve only been there a few times so far but it’s been consistent every time which is amazing!! Normally coffee shops are a hit or miss with flavor and temperature but coho has been amazing so far!
Worst owners I have ever encountered. I have been going to this establishment for quite some time now and have heard the owner (Shelby) speak to her employees with such disrespect on multiple occasions, that I absolutely cannot support Coho Coffee anymore. I have NEVER had an issue as far as service; all the baristas have been phenomenal, even the ones in training as they are clearly doing their best. I will never support a company who doesn’t support their staff. So long Coho, Jitters here I come!
This is the only coffee I have liked, but I have had one too many rude encounters. Today the person taking my order argued with me that it was my second time forgetting to say iced.... Which is irritating because no time I can recall it has happened. If you can recall me forgetting to say iced on multiple occasions, why not check if I wanted iced? Another time a different barista refused to listen about my card that doesn't work with their reader, but goes through everytime the number is entered. A third a completely different person gave me 11 punches instead of taking my free coffee card. I see all the glowing customer service reviews, I hope I start to see it because this is the only place I like the coffee and this morning really made me think twice about if the coffee is worth it.

Coffee is the best! I've tried all of Eagle River coffee huts and I end up at Coho every time. I miss living so close to it!
