DG's espresso

Super friendly staff, their espresso coffees are delicious and if the flavor is not what you expected when you got what you ordered they can make an adjustment to your order, to put a smile on your face. I ordered white chocolate mocha, and I have a sweet tooth, I am used to white chocolate tatse sweeter. So the staff asked if I like them to add another pump of white chocolate syrup to my Expresso. I said yes and it was yummy. I was pleased. !

This is my first time here as normally I go to coffee places that I'm more familiar with and I am newer to Alaska so the drive-thru coffee places are new to me.

This one is near where I live and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there is a wide variety in the menu. I ended up getting a keto friendly coffee and it appears that they have several keto friendly food items also.

DO NOT go here if you're in a rush. This place is great for the most part, they make drinks well, they have an amazing selection of items, but it can be really slow sometimes. I was just there for more than ten minutes waiting for the barista to make one drink. The woman waiting behind me left because it was talking so long, and i honestly envy her because I was late to class.

Friendly staff and unique and delicious flavors of coffee.

My coworkers and I have been coming to DG’s for a while now and have been somewhat happy with the service, but lately customer service has been quite poor and when we ask questions we get a sarcastic answer . For example today, we ordered our drinks and handed them our loyalty card that is obviously full and we tried to tell them that we wanted to use the free drink but she was in a hurry and just turned around and I guess “didn’t hear” what we said. When the lady gave us the card reader she said “oh by the way you don’t have any more room on your punch card so I started a new one for you.” I asked her to use the free drink on the punch card but she had already run my card and the lady said and quote “oh we don’t usually use the free drink unless you tell me to use it, I’m sooorrrrrryyyyyy.” I told her that we did but she just looked at us like there was something wrong with asking.

Second, I ordered. 16oz drink and when she handed me the cup it just felt really light, when I opened the lid it was only half way full, she literally gave me a 12 oz drink and put it in a 16oz cup. I have a picture of it.

Just to be clear the punch card has 20 punches on it, you get a free drink after purchasing 10 drinks total. I wanted to let everyone know that I have been supporting this business but if you are going to offer punch cards I think the least thing you can do is ask us if we want to use the free drink because why would we hand you a full punch card and not use the free drink that you offer. But give us a new punch card.

Unfortunately this is not the first time that this has happened and I don’t think I want to support your business if this is the type of service we will be receiving. 🥺

Go there all the time it’s right where I work and they always get it right every-time all the time.

This place orders stuff from Costco and sells it as gourmet. They also tip bait the shoppers after all the hard work they do. I wouldn’t spend a penny here until the owner starts paying the tip they originally offered. What they are doing is unethical and underhanded. I wonder what other shady practices are going on…spoiled product? Out of date fair? Grocery store coffee?

So, not only it took barista 30 minutes on the Saturday noon to serve 3 cars, but also the quality of coffee was terrible. Nothing is worse than burnt coffee.
She also did not apologize about the wait and poorly managed her windows-served people who pulled after us first.
Overall, bad place, if you don’t want to waste your time and money I’d recommend choosing something else.

Quick service and good drink menu, but not a single barista was masked in the very small drive through shop despite current mandate and again rising cases locally.

I love how their drinks are vegan and they always have cool flavor combos. I’ve been going here for 4 years and the food and service just keep getting better ❤️
