Strange Brew Coffeehouse Bama

Strange Brew is always a win! I’m a big fan of the other locations and am so excited for their new spot. They always have the best treats in store. But if we can’t make it in, we get their whole beans to enjoy every morning at home. The best, local coffee shop!!

Strange Brew is a great place to grab coffee! We also like to take bags of coffee to make home. My personal favorite is Bushwhacker but the House Blend is hard to beat. Overall just a cool place and great atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Coolest coffee shop ever! They have so many different options you can’t find anywhere else. I had the Golden Chai and it was AMAZING! The detailed craft of the food, drinks and the decor is not to be missed. This place is an experience…….be sure to check out the wallpaper in the bathroom!

Obsessed with this adorable coffee shop! They are always so quick. My coffee is always consistent, the staff is so sweet, their biscuit sandwiches and bakery treats are always amazing!! 10/10 recommend! Best coffee in Bama!

I’m so glad Strange Brew opened in town! Their coffee is absolutely delightful and everything I’ve tried has been delicious! All the folks that work there have been so kind and welcoming each and every time I’ve visited, and it’s been a lot since they’ve opened! If you’re in town, you MUST go!

So excited to have strange brew in Tuscaloosa! My kids said the ice cream was great and cookies too! I liked the hot chocolate myself!

I was in town for the UA Alumni Track & Field Team reunion. After my run on Sunday morning, I stopped in for a latte. I ordered the two-flavor latte with caramel & white chocolate. It was one of the BEST lattes I've ever had! (And I lived in Portland, Oregon for over three years.) I also ordered a cinnamon roll. The icing on it was superb - it tasted homemade.

My only semi-complaint was that Strange Brew didn't sell their mugs that they served coffee in (blue logo on one side, "Tuscaloosa Alabama" on the other). I asked to make sure.

The next time I visit UA or go through Starkville, I will be going again!

Great addition to the strip which was in desperate need of a reliable coffee shop. Birthday cake frappe was incredible and their oatmeal creme pie is a wonderful treat.

Great atmosphere for studying or relaxing alike. The staff is super friendly and welcoming.

As a side note, UAs HVAC research group should take a trip here to admire and take notes on what may be the most powerful air conditioning system ever fitted to a commercial space.

Thrilled for Strange Brew to be in Tuscaloosa! Shane and Katelyn have done an exceptional job transforming this space into the most welcoming environment + the coffee and tasty treats are truly fantastic. Try the adorables and oatmeal cream pies… chefs kiss!
