Southern Grounds Coffee Shoppe

I had the Cheesecake Shake and it was delicious. It had a unique taste and I know an extra flavor was added but what......all I know it was scrumpdillicious. The decor takes you back in time. When you walk in it feels as though you are home.

Very nice decor inside. A good selection of sandwiches but the taste is average for the price you pay. Smoothie is a highlight. Strawberry banana a must try! I probably wouldn’t go back for the sandwiches unless I have no other option.

Beautiful little coffee spot. The building itself is an old train station, and it has so much charm and atmosphere.

The family that owns and operates the place are super nice.

The drinks and food are very good. It's a high quality little place.

Everything was delicious. I had the Hamlette and it was just the right size and tasty. My wife had waffles and my son had a parfait. I was told the coffee was good. I drive through Thomasville fairly often from Birmimgham to Jackson and it’s great to have found this wonderful coffee shop.

I absolutely LOVE this place!!! It has picnic tables both small for young children and large for adults, a tree swing, a creek, an upstairs play room while you're wait! The staff are amazing and the food and beverages are ON POINT!! My absolute FAVORITE coffee place I have EVER been in since MOST dont even factor in parents with children also sometimes need a place to enjoy a hot beverage while their kids play.

Wow this place is great! Best latte ever, and the prices are great. The menu has something for everyone - including a Conecah sausage and egg panini which was delicious. The atmosphere is pure “southern charm”. Will make this a permanent stop when we are in town.

Everything about this little gem was beyond my expectations and if I'm ever going through Thomasville Al again, I'll be stopping by for exceptional java, smoothies and yummy grubb! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
