Highland Gourmet Scones

Very pleased with every visit to Highland Gourmet Scones. I live out of the state and any time that I am in town I swing by for a scone pick up. I at first tried the mini's to distinguish which ones would be our favorite, but I have to be honest we like them all.

So we have upgraded to purchasing the large scones in a variety of flavors. A few have made it to being a fan favorite - Cherry Amaretto, Pumpkin Spice, Toasted Coconut, and Orange Cranberry. The regular size scones are a bit more moist, and have a stronger flavor.

We highly recommend them, and have not been disappointed with any of our orders!! The one time I returned home without scones..........we had a few sad faces. It is now what we look forward to when I am in town.

Plus they are a great spot for coffee!!

Don't let the size of the scones deceive you. They are filling and delicious. We tried the Lemon Blueberry, Orange Cranberry and Amaretto Cherry. The amaretto cherry was my favorite, and the orange cranberry was a very close second. The lemon blueberry was good, but the lemon flavor was not as pronounced in the scone as the orange and amaretto was in the others.

Received a large tin of these from my business neighbors for Christmas. Best scones I have ever had. My whole family agreed. Will visit soon!!

Just dropped by one Saturday morning, and fell in love! Cute shop, with tasty scones and coffee- and the BEST service. The owner helped me and talked about the different flavors (even told me how to best save them for later!) If you are a scone lover, or wanting a new anytime treat or small meal- stop by and TREAT YO'SELF to this tasty goodness!

My husband and I were passing through from out of town and as an avid scone lover I simply had to stop and try these. The owner was the one who served us and he raved about his wife's baking ability, and he was in the right to do so. I make a habit of sampling any scones I can get my hands on and I'll gladly tell you these were some of the best I havr ever had. We ended up wanting to try one of every flavor because the first one was so good; and when the owner found out we were from out of town he sweetly made two of them on the house! Everything was scrumptious but my favorite flavor was the hazelnut cream. Simply Delightful! If I could go back I would, daily!

Must go to place! I am visiting Hoover, AL and stopped at this place based on the reviews. The scones are phenomenal! I might gain some extra pounds, but I am definitely going back regularly while I am down here. Take the time and visit.

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!! Someone delivered these to our office yesterday and I just cannot tell you how good they are!!!! The Orange Cranberry is my favorite but the Golden Raisin comes in a very close 2nd! Amazing! Just simply amazing!

Good luck trying to catch this place open. I have gone out of my way for the last time trying to. I Do not understand how a place can occupy such expensive real estate and be open with such erratic hours.

Amazing place for scones. I walked over from nearby hotel, and was not disappointed. The scones are amazing. I had toasted coconut and orange cranberry. both were excellent.

Their customer service is above and beyond! If the scones are half as good as their service they will be amazing!
