The prices were incredibly high for what we received - $30 for 2 small lunches and 2 coffees.
The cold brew was steeped for too long, and not smooth at all. The online menu is not reflective of their actual product availability at all. We had hoped for a lunch from there, but wound up with the only thing they actually had available - chicken salad wraps. The chicken was overcooked and dry, and the wraps had no flavor.
We were very disappointed and felt as if we had wasted our money. We won't be back.

Hands down one of the coolest shops I’ve ever been in. Friendly staff, and great coffee.

Alchemy Coffee is probably one of my go to's for local coffee. The atmosphere is always so clear and peaceful. I feel like the color scheme and cozy chairs to sit in really give it such a welcoming feeling. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, which really makes the atmosphere more welcoming. The latte art is so beautiful and the iced coffees are always presented in a lovely manner as well. I've never had a problem at this location and overall, it's always money well spent. I'm always happy with my experiences here!

Great selection of unique flavored lattes. Great little variety of in-house baked pastries. Cute area to wander & sit to relax. However, since shop changed from Alchemy, prices have skyrocketed. Flavored lattes are 7.50 then $1 to change milk.

For anyone who enjoys coffee, this is an amazing place. If you are someone who does not put sugar in their coffee, this is the best place in town. They have the best cold brew coffee i have ever purchased from a coffee shop. They use a great bean/roast, and nailed the ratio and steep times to get all the flavor of the beans used without overpowering bitterness or wateriness. That is a subtle skill that a lot of places who also use good beans do not have. Can't recommend this place enough.
I cannot speak to their other coffee offerings, as I don't drink them, but I feel comfortable in the assumption that their lattes and such are also amazing.
My only complaint is they are a little awkward to get to. You have to park in a gravel lot and go into a little gated courtyard to find the front door. Not a big complaint, but if I had to nitpick something.

Alchemy Coffee is a very trendy and friendly place to visit and hang out. I have always been very satisfied by the level of customer services received at both locations (The Camp -and- Now Closed - Lowe Mill).
The baristas have a nice medium sized selection of drinks both hot and cold. They also have a few pastries, they are always delicious. If you go in the morning they do offer a few breakfast boxes that are very cute and interesting.
The reason I gave 5 stars:
The coffee is always delicious it does not taste burned or underpowered.
Pastries have been good every time.
The staff is always very helpful at explaining any items on the menu even it it's a little busy.
There is space to hang out on the patio above the coffee shops and there is also an air-conditioned area up there too.
The place is very trendy looking and everything is decorated with taste.

They have your standard "coffeehouse" style drinks with their own twists. My cappuccino was delicious. While they don't have a lot of seating within the shop, the seating in the whole "Camp" area is spacious. Vibe is great. Looking forward to coming here when warmer weather comes.

I love alchemy coffee! They are located at The Camp in mid-city -- which is quirky and cool. The store front is very tiny, with a small ordering counter, but it feels cozy more than cramped. Inside there are a few window-side seats and a hightop table from maybe 4. The coffee selection is very good and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They also have snacks available for purchase. It's easy to order and pay and I've never had to wait very long. The process are on par with similar java joints.
The really unique feature here is the rooftop seating.
Outside there are steps leading to a rooftop deck with comfy outdoor seating that overlooks The Camp. There's also a small covered seating area up there that can accommodate maybe 4 or 5 people. This is a great place to talk and listen to love music when it's there at The Camp (always at night). The roof seems to stay open even when the store is closed.
My only complaint, and it's not especially valid, is that the shop closes at maybe 6pm. That's not very unusual for a coffee shop (Starbucks being the notable exception). But when I come out in the weekend for music it would be nice to have a coffee. The are open wait in the morning, of course, so no issues there.

I went to the Lowe Mill location, and it surpassed my high expectations. The coffee was smooth. My mocha was just perfect, and I love that they only serve homemade syrups. Less really is more. The atmosphere was classy and relaxed. I will definitely be back.
