First of all I love good coffee so I was excited to find this place while vacationing in gulf shores. I walked in and it looked like the the workers were hustling trying to put together orders . They were not friendly or attentive in any matter. There was a small shelf of coffee so I grabbed one wanting to get out of the place. Unfortunately I grabbed one called banana foster. One of the worst coffees I ever tasted, had a strong chemical taste which I guess was the banana. The bag had no mention of the roast or when the coffee was roasted. If your looking for a fancy whip cream drink maybe this place is good. But if you like good coffee, pour over or French press I would skip it.

Great mocha! It smells great in this little shop, very friendly people too. I will absolutely be going back when i revisit gulf shores :)

Great staff. Guy behind the counter had great recommendations. The Bushwacker coffee is something you must try. My wife is not a big coffee drinker, but one taste and she wanted her own. Great spot! Go next door and get donuts too.

I’ve been to this location several times for a delicious coffee since I live right behind it and without failure, there’s this one girl (brown, wavyish hair) who always acts like it’s the end of the world to help her customers. I get the simplest order every time and she is so rude! It’s not just directed towards me either she has an attitude with everyone. It’s just disappointing because regardless of how many times I go there the service is awful when she’s in. I kept coming back because everyone has a bad day now and then but it wasn’t the case with her. Everyone else is usually really great. I don’t know how she still has a job there, but I’ll be taking my business literally anywhere else.

First, customer service is amazing, they treat you as family. Second the coffee is second to none. There are so many flavors to try and find the one perfect for you. My personal favorite is the Cuban. The food is personally made and you can tell it is made with love. This is my favorite spot and one I vouch for personally.

Infused flavor coffee! It’s amazing you have to try the bushwhacker infused iced coffee! Also has a very nice patio to enjoy your beverage. Mins from the beach!

Used the app to order my sandwich around 10 am for a 1:45 pickup since I was using my lunch hour to drive over to that area and back. Walked in to pick up my pre-ordered and prepaid sandwich only to find it wasn't done. The 2 teen girls looked at each other and said we don't have it, did you call it in? I replied no I used the app. One girl reached over and checked the screen and said oh we don't get notifications hardly ever and when we do it takes like an hour or longer. So they then proceeded to make my sandwich. Four trips to the back for the ingredients and 15 minutes later I had my sandwich. No urgency, no efficiency, not even remotely apologetic. Disappointed

I got a Cuban latte here. Seriously one of the best lattes I've ever had. Cute and cozy place to sit or hang out. I also go an everything bagel, it was yummy and fresh. If I lived here I definitely know where I would get my coffee every day.

Always looking for a local coffee shop and you just never know if your gonna find one or what your going to get if you do. I’m happy to say this one was a treasure. Service top notch, sandwiches were delish ( had a Gouda slider toasted ) 😋. Then he introduced me to bushwhacker. His own roasted bean recipe? Say What!!! Will be our morning stop for the whole week here. If your picky, appreciate a friendly smile in the morning, or love to support anything local well this is your new coffee house home away from home.

I discovered this beautiful coffee haven from Ciara, a very sweet employee from the hotel that I was staying at on business. It was an hour wait in the drive thru a few days after hurricane Sally hit the area. Yes, I waited that long. Let me reassure you that it was worth the wait!! It was my first time experience so I had questions. Even with the growing line behind me, Mary was so patient and kind with me. She made me the most delicious coffee that kept me coming back the entire 2 weeks I was in Foley! Thank you to the kind ladies of Southern Shores Coffee House for making my stay so very memorable! I'll be back!!!!
