Very friendly service and the lady mixed me a white chocolate and caramel iced coffee. It was delicious!

Same as many before me, I am visiting on vacation. My wife and I make it part of our routine to find local coffee spots to enjoy and try out. This was the 2nd spot we have tried and I felt a need to review. You already know that when you are pulling up and its a little shack that you can expect a good coffee.

Driving through we ask a few questions the workers were kind and informative. The prices were as one can expect from your standard coffee shop.

My wife got a Bourbon Caramel Dark Chocolate Half Sweet iced Latte and I got a Toasted Marshmallow Spiced Brown Sugar half sweet hot latte. It was all very well balanced and the cashier made sure to ask many questions to ensure our coffees were made well.

Lovely experience and we intend to go back.

That said, the customer journey to get the coffee is horrible. I waited 45 minutes in line. Why? Because each car takes about 4 minutes at the window to order, pay, process, and receive their items. When I was two cars from the window, I called them and asked if I could place my order over the phone so that I could shorten the amount of time at the window. They said, “We prefer taking our customer orders at the window!” While I respect that, it’s costing them money. Behind me, 7 cars left the line because of the projected wait time.

Speeding up will improve your profitability and your customer’s experience! So, what can you do? For one, optimize your order taking. Put a sign 2-3 cars’ length before the window telling them that if they know their order, they can call ahead. Knowing orders reduces your employees’ wait-for-the-window time and shortens the customer’s wait time.

Look, you have a good product and a good model. You just need some optimizing for higher volumes. #MessageToTheOwner

I have had some disappointing or hit and miss experiences in the past a couple times trying to get a drink here.
But, I’ve also had several great experiences ordering coffee from here as well.
The King Cake Iced and Frozen drinks are Amazing!
The owner is very sweet and cares about the quality of your drink and whether you like it.

Excellent customer service. Employees are sweet and attentive. All of our drinks were amazing. I would definitely recommend you make this stop in Gulf Shores.

Alyssa was extremely Courteous and helpful. She made recommendations and suggestions for us, since we had never visited before. My son loved his blended caramel frappe, and I enjoyed an iced latte with sugar-free chocolate & sugar-free hazelnut syrups. Happy to discover this locally owned shop. We will definitely visit again on our next trip. Highly recommend!!!

Two coffee loving gals from Texas came to gulf shores for a little vacay. Our hotel coffee was garbage so we were on the hunt for great coffee. We came here because it was the only one open on Sunday, luckily. We looked at previous reviews and everyone recommended the toffee nut flavor. We came to Beach Girl Coffee the three remaining days of our trip; needless to say it was a fabulous cup of coffee and the service was spectacular!! Everyone was so kind and helpful. Our last day we picked some up to hit the road with and the person in front of us started a “pay of forward chain” so our coffee was paid for it was a great ending to our trip. We definitely recommend coming here and having the toffee nut!! Good coffee and won’t break the bank!
