Good family owned cozy restaurant, and really good service, food, and atmosphere! Located along side HWY 59, just after the overhead crossing bridge.

People are very nice. The food is good, I've had lunch several times and had breakfast today. All 3 of us had omelets, my husband and daughter loved theirs. I thought it was ok but not impressed. Lunch has always been very good. Home cooked meat and vegetables, different choices daily. I will go back (been going there for several years, 2-3 times a year. We don't eat out that often.) for lunch.

The food is great and the cook, servers, and even customers are all pleasant and make you feel welcome. The price is excellent for how good the food is. The portions are nice too. It has an old school diner feel and is a good place to stop and get a good breakfast. There's a good selection on the menu too

I love this place with all my heart it's been here since before I was a kid, I'm (23). But I'd be lying if I gave this place 5 stars, I love the food, it's down home southern food, the service is always great and so are the prices. The building needs some major revamping it, when I visited the toilet was broke (it's been broke the past few times I've visited). But I will still return and love it because of the history and I love the feel of the southern small shack diner feel. Just please someone do some renovations it even smells like 1970 LOL

Food was good however the place was not very clean in and around the cooking suface.Granted the place was packed however there was grease and dirt on everything including the ceiling vents. The biscuits were microwaved, grits came out of a warming drawer that was gross on the outside.A head of lettuce was sitting next to a toaster out in the open.If you can ignore all that.Food is good.Friendly People.
