Whitlock's Cafe

A nice little diner tucked away next to a grocery store and gas station. What's not to like, right? I had the daily special, beef brisket bbq on mashed potatoes, side of greens, side salad, sweet tea. Captain's wafers. And vanilla soft serve. All good.

Could use updated kitchen area a bit nasty I always get my food to go, One person said that they had large portion but I'm sure I don't agree with that chicken fingers are over cooked and fries are over cooked as well

Waitress was unfriendly but the food was fabulous. It does take a while to get your food but well worth the wait.

I have eaten there plenty enough to know that you can't beat Whitlock's for good Comfort food. And the service has always been above par and everyone there is always very friendly and helpful. If you're down by Smith Lake Park, I would definitely recommend you stopping in for a bite to eat. You won't be disappointed. And the prices won't hit your wallet too hard either. Good job Whitlock's.

Great hamburgers and fries. Downside, they allow smokers to light up inside. We always get ours to go for this reason. Would be 5 stars if it were smoke free.

Usually LOVE this place! But last night I tried to place a to go order and there phone was off of the hook. If yall can't handle a dinner rush, hire a extra person. Geez oh petes!!

Food is GREAT! It is a very small restaurant but we love the takeout! Can't go wrong with the Philly Steak or a burger!

Just as I was starting to eat I could not believe the lady sitting next to me lit up a cigarette. It's 1975 in this place. Food is just okay, I don't think anything is cooked fresh unless it has to be. Biscuits, chicken, hamburgers... I'll come from the freezer.

Cafe from childhood memories. Enjoy Hamburger Special & ice cream like homemade, or five egg omelette any time of day. They will smile, make u feel at home & have you eating fast.
