First time out in a hot minute. Mid-morning, beautiful Winter/Autumn day in Alabama. It has a very low key and relaxed atmosphere. Reasonable prices for gourmet's finest coffee. 10/10 I'll return. Just got the dark roast with some creamer.

Great coffee and friendly employees, this is a neighborhood hangout. You are sure to run into someone you know at O'Henry's if you live anywhere near Highland Ave. in Birmingham, AL. Of note is the laundry located right next door to the shop. Best place in town to do 8 loads of laundry in one machine for around $8. I recommend Sat. morning early, or Sunday before 12 noon if your doing laundry. Of course if you just want great coffee try O'Henry's, you will like it.

Cute little coffeehouse with a nice atmosphere for gathering. Coffee is good and service is great. I ordered a cafe mocha and a slice of chocolate cake. The mocha was great, warm, and chocolatety. The chocolate cake was aweful. I took one bite and couldn't eat anymore. I was so disappointed. The cake looked delicious but it was deceiving. It was dry and tasted old, like it has been refrigerated for quite some time. Besides the cake, the place is great. It has a great view; it's set right in front of Highland Park.

I love going to this place, the frappe and food there is amazing and gourmet.

I love iced lattes but unfortunately, the iced latte that I purchased here was not good. The espresso was not enjoyable at all and it was too diluted. Plus, the syrups used are not a high quality brand in my opinion. I didnt enjoy it at all and poured most of it down the drain.

This place is always a nice place to get coffee or tea in Birmingham. The staff is always super helpful and nice and the coffee, tea, and food they serve is always quality. Last time I was there, they did forget my order and I had to go back to the counter and ask about it, but they corrected the mistake very quickly. This is the only time that's happened to me though. Definitely recommend.

I came here once because the line was wrapped around Starbucks, and uh Starbucks who? The people are so friendly and make amazing London Fogs. Now when I’m headed downtown this is the spot.

Extremely Overrated
I've lived on the same block as this place for two years and am never going back after today.
The employee turnover seems to be quite high, and everyone I've ever spoken to who worked there behaved rudely and bizarrely, as in they couldn't be bothered to take my order and always managed to bring their strange, personal drama in with them.
The coffee is mediocre, and their smoothies come out of cardboard jugs. There's no reason to go here. Find another local coffeehouse or just go to Starbucks.

I enjoy the coffee here, and appreciate that it is locally roasted. Some staff has been oddly abrasive. I’d almost describe it as an attitude of indifference towards their clientele. This morning I had a question about an item on the menu and rather than giving me a straight answer, they danced around the answer until I felt like I was being foolish for asking in the first place.
So, to clear up any confusion, the sign that states clearly that “pour over is the only way we make decaf coffee” also means “no other coffee is made by way of pour over”

Great coffee and great service! Basically what you get anytime you go to an O'Henry's! I greatly prefer the local chain (O'Henry's) to Starbucks or Duncan Donuts.
