Mukwano Coffee

What a wonderful little shop! They roast their own coffee and even make some of their own syrups. I tried a Brown Sugar Cardamom latte - YUM!! Friendly service and great coffee!!

Great service, great atmosphere, and of course the coffee is amazing! They roast their own beans and have a wide variety of specialty drinks. The leige waffles are so good, and it's always fun seeing what the specialty donut is on Saturdays.

I stopped in after a backpacking trip, it was an incredibly relaxing visit. The Rwanadan pour over I ordered was complex and tasty, it had a great body and sweet fruit notes as it cooled. My friend had a iced latte that she said was excellent! The atmosphere in the shop was very chill and the staff was so friendly. Stop by if you’re in Rawlins!

Since finding this little coffee shop I will never waste money or overspend on coffee anywhere else again as long as this place is around. This is BY FAR the cleanest, coziest, most reasonably priced coffee shop this town has ever seen. Cleanliness and friendliness is not something common around here, but Mukwano exceeds all expectations. Will recommend every time.

Best coffee on the I-80 corridor (seriously) run by passionate local ownership. The atmosphere is welcoming and happy, and quality of coffee is something you’d expect in a big city. Truly a great place to gather community, or spend a couple of hours on your road trip.

The coffee was not good. The cold brew had to get thrown out without drinking and the drip was just meh. The parfait was good, as was the waffle, but the poor coffees and off-putting vibe were not enough to warrant a good rating. I hope they can get their act together and do a better job. The interior was just fine.

Love the flavor of Mukwano's coffee. They have a frozen mocha that is great. I drink them way too fast tho!

Best coffee in town and in Carbon county! The atmosphere is great, the coffee is always excellent, the donuts are the best in town by far, the waffles are the best waffles I’ve ever had, and the baristas are exceptional in terms of quality of service and friendliness.

Stopped in to caffeinate on the way back to the west coast on a road trip this May – totally worth parking my trailer three blocks away and getting wet walking in the rain! Had the best latte I've tasted in a really long time, and the pound of Burundi I got has me excited to order some more beans once it runs out.

I'm already planning my next road trip around southern Wyoming just to stop here again – definitely want to get some of those local crafts and merch this time!
