Totally awesome hole in the wall. If I am ever back in this neck of the woods, I will be hitting the Cowboy Cafe. I shared fish and chips and the house Reuben. Both were far beyond my expectations. The Reuben especially was really amazing, but the fish was cooked perfectly, not dry, not mushy. I nibbled my wife's BLT it was good too. We tried peach and apple/blackberry pie, I like the apple blackberry best. Well done Cowboys!

The food was very good. I got the breakfast burrito and the biscuits and gravy breakfast. The burrito wasn’t too special, but the biscuits and gravy were exceptional. The biscuits tasted like they make them in house. Eggs and sausage were good too. You get a lot of food and everything was priced pretty well. Our server was so nice and really took care of us. The coffee was good too and they were always quick to refill it. I also got the peach caramel crunch pie and it was excellent. Very flakey and perfectly sweet and balanced. Try their pies because they are incredible. This diner has a cozy feel and is a great stop if you are in Duboise.

What a great place to eat. I had the beef dip which was amazing. My husband had the California BLT. He loved it. The onion rings were delicious. They have a lot of choices for homemade pies but we were so full, we had to skip dessert. Our server was extremely nice and she made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely stop in the next time we are in Dubois.

Amazing service. The server worked hard for everyone in the restaurant. Great quality food. My wife and daughter loved their steaks. I tried the Chicken Fried Steak with Mushrooms and swiss and it was fabulous. The cowboy potatoes had the right of spice and peppers. We would be regulars if we didn't live 3 1/2 hours away.

The food was OK but definitely nothing special about this place. It was full because there aren't many options coming out from Jackson Hole or Yellowstone, Wyoming. So, they played their cards right and are making money out of it's location solely. Personally, I'm not coming back anytime soon.

Friendly staff, generally always busy, wide selection.

They do have an Impossible burger.

They had a vegan "chik'n" patty option which was delicious, but since it did not sell well, it was removed from the menu. It doesn't surprise me for Wyoming, but I wish it would stay regularly on the menu!

(last time I went by was Mon 20 Feb 2023, and it was no longer offered)

The service was fantastic. At first my steak was a little bit rare but when I asked the waitress to see if it could be cooked longer she was more than willing to take care of it. The food was delicious and I'd love to go back someday. It's a great place to stop on the way through or to Dubois, Wyoming.

Good home town cafe. Enjoyed the main meal food and the place itself. Took cherry and bourbon chocolate pecan pie to go. Fillings were good. But the crust not good to my wife an myself. They were very diligent on the cleanings of the tables.

Actually this is a good place. Pizza is tasty. There two reasons why i took one star off:
1 Prices: 14" pizza $20, boneless wings 12 pieces for$11
2. You need to have time for waiting.
Staff is friendly.
