Their food is very yummy and cheap. I heard this place and finally I came to try last week. It is a morden food stand. A small building standing in a parking lot. There are only one outdoor table and seats. eating in the car is not a bad idea. Owners are very friendly. Cash only so don't forget to bring you cash.

This was our first time here and we loved the steam buns! We tried the BBQ Pork, Pork leek, Cheese Spinach, Cabbage, Sweet Red Bean and the Egg Custard. The gentleman working the window was super nice and patient while we looked over the menu and even gave us a free bun. Service was amazing! And he was kind enough to run the order to our car since the weather was bad that day. We definitely will be back to try other items on their menu! So far our favorite Flavors are BBQ Pork, Pork Leek and Egg Custard

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - here are the items we got: Braised pork rice, Pork leek bun, Mapo tofu bun, Egg custard bun, and Tea egg. Eat the buns while they're still hot! The buns are so soft, fluffy, and moist that you can just eat the buns by itself without any fillings. It has a bit of sweetness that complements the savory fillings so well. The mapo tofu has a slight kick and sourness that is so reminiscent of the actual dish. The braised pork rice is so simple but packed with flavor that makes you crave the next bite. We got raw garlic on it and the slight sharpness adds a brightness to the dish. The tea egg is marinated nicely but a little on the saltier side. The egg custard bun has such interesting seasoning and was sweet without getting too overwhelming. This is the BEST egg custard bun I ever had
Ambience: N/A - it's a little hut in the parking lot that you order from.
Service: 5/5 - cashier was very friendly and happy to explain the menu and provide recommendations. It was a cold day out so he told us to wait in the car and delivered the food to us. Since we were eating in the parking lot, he came to check on us to make sure we enjoyed the food :))
Value for price: 5/5 - smaller servings but the food is so good that it's worth the premium. Would have never imagined that the best Taiwanese food would be in windy Wyoming

Destination Taiwan deserves high praise for the remarkable quality of their authentic Taiwanese cuisine and genuine kindness of the owners. They have something for everyone: their freshly steamed buns offer a delicious introduction to the cuisine, while their savory braised pork and tea eggs thrill the taste buds of those looking for authentic flavors. Everything is high quality and delicious. Each time we visit Cheyenne, we make a point of eating there at least twice, and I cannot recommend it enough.

The food here was amazing! The bao buns were some of the best I had and the people were so friendly! We were just driving through, but really glad we stopped here

When one thinks of Cheyenne WY, traditional Taiwanese fare is probably not the first thing that comes to mind. That aside, Destination Taiwan provides precisely that. Carefully prepared Taiwanese favorites are offered up in a bare bones drive in format. The staff is friendly and helpful, and all of my food was packaged well and carefully labeled. They even had an instruction card making sure people mix up the braised pork rice properly before eating! It is nice to see a restaurant taking such pride in their products and making sure all the details are covered and then some. 100% worth a stop!

This place was slammed! Placed a huge order and was told to wait in the car. Owner brought order to our car with extra napkins and utensils. Also gave us three free buns and thanked us for choosing them for lunch. Delicious food, great service!

I have never had Taiwanese food before stopping to have lunch and bubble tea here recently. 🙃 The gentleman was extremely kind and patient in helping me with the menu and avoiding items to which I may have allergic reactions. He even included a couple of free items that he left off as possibilities for me to try. I loved every morsel!!!! The Green Onion Pancake and Steamed Spinach Bun were my favorites. I was a little over full 😆by the end of the meal but couldn't stop the adventure of new flavors and textures. 😯 IT WAS AMAZING!!!
My friend from that part of the world has gotten me hooked on bubble tea. I want to say this tastes exactly as she describes. The others have been mere copies. It was even a little too sweet, like she talks about it being. However, given we both like our tea, more tea, less sugar, which isn't a very common thing, this won't be an issue for most. 🤣
I Am Most Definitely Going Back Again!!! I invite y'all to try it, too. I think you might find something Interesting!😉
Thank you!!!:

Stopped by for a quick lunch while visiting Cheyenne. Great place to enjoy authentic bao. Service was fast and food came out hot and fresh. Everything tasted amazing. Loved pan fried chive pancake and the Beijing noodle. So small the restaurant, so great the selection on the menu.

Heading over from Colorado and frankly we thought it would be impossible for them to live up to our expectations. WE WERE VERY WRONG. The food was top-notch, and worth of its acclaim. Every dish was thoughtful, surprising in a good way. We left extremely satisfied. MARVELOUS!
