This is a wonderful addition to West Bend's main street. Came here for the first time today for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. The space is beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the food is fresh and fantastic. Had the country breakfast and a sport tea and everything was tasty. The hashbrowns were fresh, not frozen, the bread was homemade and came with a very good jam, and the bacon and eggs were cooked perfectly.
Mavens made the cupcakes at a wedding I worked back in June. They were amazing! I kept saying I would come check their place out. Today, I finally did. We had a girl's coffee date here this morning. Everything was so delicious. I love the atmosphere. The stuff is great! I highly recommend Mavens!
I have stopped in a few times, previously just for a coffee or smoothie type of thing for the fam while walking WB's downtown. I honestly never knew they even had food. I can honestly say this would be a frequent spot for me to visit if I was living in WB. If I am visiting when they are serving food there is zero doubt that I will be stopping here. I recently had the biscuits and gravy. The biscuit itself was bigger than my palm and fingers. Growing up, we were taught that a biscuit is judged by its 'bounce back' ability. How quickly does it bounce back to normal after your fork cuts a chunk off and how long does it last. This biscuit has bounce back for the entire meal....which itself is massive. There has to be at least 4 ladles of the sausage gravy. Each bite you get a slight hint of pepper, the sweetness of the sausage and the the thickness of the gravy. I would say of all the B&G's I've had up here in WI over the last 25 years, this is my top 1 or 2 version. Highly recommend.
I love this place and rate it 5 🌟 or 💯 or whatever way you need to see to know this is where you need to get your next cup of coffee and delicious pastries. Killer atmosphere, awesome staff, fantastic products. Swing through, support local, and enjoy🤘🤘
Trendy and cozy vibe. Super friendly and helpful staff. I had a pecan pie latte with oatmilk and it was very tasty! Love that they make their own syrups and caramel sauce from scratch and that they brew Anodyne Coffee. Will definitely be back!
today i headed to mavens on main for my lunch break and by my mistake i showed up at noon when the door says they close at 11:30 (at the the moment the website just needed some updating and gave a different time) the worker that helped me was so kind and still made my smoothie to go. will definitely return and can’t be more thankful that there are kind community based local businesses here in west bend
Nice little coffee shop. Not much food choices since they were shorthanded so only coffee for me! Little bit expensive but its a small place in a small town!
We went in on a Saturday morning for breakfast. The standing room line was extremely long; while we were waiting, my wife spotted acute container of cookies for sale. They were Halloween cookies, maybe a total of eight. They were not marked for price. We made our way closer to the counter and saw their chalkboard menu carefully written out but no prices. My wife ordered a frappe, a cup of coffee, and two cinnamon rolls. We gave the clerk the cookies and paid $32 for the above goods. The box of small cookies was $12! The frappe was $7. Each cinnamon roll was $4. We've had better for much less. Regretfully, we won't be going back.
My husband and I stopped in for our first time on a Saturday morning. Our iced coffees were delicious! He tried the Bacon Hand pie and loved it. We will be stopping back in to try out more of the menu!
I visited today with 2 of my sons. We were promptly welcomed. The ambiance and decor is super cute. The coffee was fantastic (they use Anodyne which is amazing!) house made syrups too. Everything looked fantastic. Both boys got the sausage breakfast burrito which was delicious and a generous portion as well. I had the sausage hand pie-It was also fantastic. Pastry was flaky and perfectly baked! The chocolate chip cookie was melt in your mouth good as well. Staff were all super kind. Overall a great experience. I know how much work it is to open a new place and you all are doing great! Keep it up. We will definitely be back!
