Stopped by to get my hopper washed out. They did an awesome job. They even gave the truck a rinse off. No extra charge for that! That'll make a truckers day! While I was waiting went on over to visit laughing Larry. What a bloody champion. Get him to play you his theme song if you stop by. Food was good. Kinda like visiting an old mates house. Simple and tasty. I even got a laugh out of Larry! That topped it of since he's called laughing Larry!

Don't let the outside scare you off. Larry's is a quaint little place just off the interstate set up in a truck wash. While the décor and the exterior may not be fancy like some of those other roadside dining options, the food is better than the others.
Larry's served us some great tasting burgers. They were 1/2 pound burgers and Larry does what other places are afraid to do, he seasoned the meat. I got the Patty melt and my wife got the Mushroom Swiss. Both burgers were cooked perfectly and my rye bread was nicely toasted.
Larry's does not have an extensive menu but he what he does make he makes very well. Speaking with the waitress and Larry was a treat, (the advantage of a small operation) we learned that Larry was talking with drivers as they were getting their trucks washed and listened as drivers lamented about not having any type of actual home-style food on the road. Larry listened and began cooking things like they would be able to get at home.
We got drawn in by the reviews, even the bad reviews said the food was good. We just had to go and see. I felt like we were eating in someone's kitchen. It was a great experience. Larry and his waitress (I did not get her name but I did learn she was from Michigan, not far from our home) were nice people and fun to chat with. Definitely a must stop if you are in the area and are hungry. You can get your truck washed too while you are there.

Great truck wash. Friendly staff and it's nice to see Truckers treated with free coffee and restuarant while you wait

It's not one star because the food is good and it's a nice simple place to do laundry and eat and relax. However. DO NOT wash your truck here. I paid 59 bucks and the job was horrible. Bug residue all over and lower windshield was filthy. I will go to Portage Blue Beacon next time.

Did a ok job washing my truck. Missed a couple wheels and a few spots on the truck. Definitely not the best wash, but far from the worst.

Got a wash out inside of my reefer (very good job, very clean)
Then my wife and I went in and had breakfast, also very good and reasonably priced (small town atmosphere) I'll definitely be there again!

Stopped in at truck wash for a full wash (tractor only). It was on a Friday evening at 5:50 pm, they close at 10 pm. The staff member told me it was just him and one other guy. With this being said, full washes was unavailable. They were only offering express washes.
Both truck wash bays were empty and no other truck was on the property. And as for the weather, it was starting to rain.
I have used this truck wash many times but will not be returning. I will go back to using the Blue Beacon in Portage, they have never turned my bussiness away.
