Great space, good selection, helpful staff, comfortable seating, friendly neighbors, and the best cup of chai ever!

Wonderful local bookstore. They carry a selection of unique gift items as well including puzzles and teas and even some adorable tea towels and aprons. The store also sells ceramic mugs and vases made by a local artist. The staff is friendly, helpful and eager to make sure your visit is enjoyable. The cafe inside, Called The Paper Crane, offers a variety of home made taste treats that change almost daily. The potato and leek soup was delicious as was the turkey sandwich on Asiago bread and the Rosemary chicken w/root vegetables was so yummy. They also offer a variety of coffees and teas and other interesting beverages. The staff will accept payment and bring items outside to you as they are very sensitive to people's concerns re: covid-19, they all wear masks and observe safety measures so I felt very comfortable picking up my items. Highly recommend!

Fun little bookstore with a great selection. Bakery items were a nice bonus.

Arcadia Books contains an excellently curated collection of books and is staffed with knowledgeable and friendly staff. The store newsletter is a great place to find new reads and many of the books in the store are annotated with excellent, descriptive reviews. Store also contains a very good coffee bar and snacks. We love this place and willingly waste our time in it!!

I love this bookstore! The books on display are very well-chosen. I always find something that makes me think and Sparks my interest. The mix of the cafe, the community events, and the books makes the location inviting. I always feel as if I would like to drop in weekly to see what's new and make it my local indie bookstore.

The BEST bookstore, coffee shop, and café. They have a wide selection for both adults and children. Worth a day trip from Madison.

Whenever we travel, we seek out local bookstores. Arcadia is one of our favorites. The store is set up well, so it's easy to find what you are looking for. The displays are well thought out and eye catching.
The staff is helpful and always smiling. There is a cafe and comfortable seating, which adds to the appeal.

This is a fabulous bookstore. A surprising find, I will return whenever I'm in the area. In addition to a great book selection, the cafe is also very good. Fresh, tasty salads, inviting, casual atmosphere.

Great sub sandwich and antipasto. Sichuan salad pretty good too. Friendly service. Not a lot of food options, but excellent quality.
