Johnston's Bakery

Nice local bakery with daily freshly baked items serving the local community and visitors to Sheboygan! Wonderful that they are open early and have fresh coffee ready! They do have espresso drinks, if you like your coffee bold and strong make sure you get a shot of espresso added to it! The donuts are a delight & a specialty offering a unique taste and flare to them. Friendly staff and service with a personal touch! Will be back if ever in the area again! 🙂

They have freshly baked products. The morning buns are so delicious and they are very rich in cinnamon flavor. Also, their cakes are really good.

You can certainly tell that this place is a go to bakery in Sheboygan for all things baked or dunked. Right off the bat, the freshly baked goodness hits your nostrils as you walk through the door. Even on a Monday, the place was hopping, so you know it's good stop and witlrth the visit. Lots of classics here: Pershings, Long John's, Cake, Glazed, Rolls, filled, powdered...you name it, they make it. They also have a great selection of baked breads, cakes, and assorted pastries that would give any sweet tooth cause to pause with a wide eyed grin. Add to that, the fact that they make espresso and coffee and you're definitely dipping into my foodie wheelhouse!

Every time I walk into Johnson’s bakery I feel at home. The smell of fresh bakery is astounding. Some of the workers are still there from when I was a kid and it is amazing how some things never change. I love the atmosphere and the café style inside. Very nice to remember the good ole days!!!

This is a nice place that serves up a bunch of bakery. The only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars is that I just got back from France and their bakeries, that a littered everywhere, their bakeries simply blow our bakeries away!

However, if you are unwilling to fly to France, I would recommend that you reconsider. It will be worth it. But if after reconsidering, decide to stay, and still need a bakery. This place is just as good as any other on this side of the Atlantic.

I ordered 5 dozen of their smiley face sugar cookies for work. They were great and everyone loved them. Thanks so much for the great service and amazing cookies!

They were so welcoming and the place was so homey! They had really good coffee and muffins. They’re display is so pretty and it’s very clean.

First time in Sheboygan for the Ryder Cup and luckily found a first rate bakery … people are so friendly and we had our elephant ear pastry filled with raspberry and frosting ❤️❤️❤️

Went to Johnstons because I felt up for a sweet breakfast and it did not disappoint! The building itself is a nice little establishment and has a nice decor to it, it's a bit different but easy to move around in and very clean. The service was pretty good to, very polite and patient! The selection of wares was pretty big and tasty if I do say so myself. Try Johnstons out, it's a nice homely bakery I enjoyed on all ends and have no complaints at all!

They always have friendly staff, they make amazing bakery, they accommodate special orders and save my life many times with school functions and work functions. Great place! Must visit and enjoy some delectable bakery! :)
