Delicious black bean & sweet potato quesadilla. Just skimpy with the side tortilla strips - only 4 skinny ones. Not stopping me from going back just would of liked a few more.
Had my first experience here on a lazy, rainy morning and it was good. First thing you notice is this place has an urban atmosphere. Overstuffed chairs and pendant lights with lots of chalkboard menus. It's nice, if a bit typical of a coffe shop. They even had the "coffee shop" music station on via some subscription service..meh.
I was warmly greeted and ordered a breakfast burrito with coffee. There was decaf, breakfast blend and a flavored coffee to help yourself to. The B blend was good with some real body to it without being muddy. The almond fudge coffee was enjoyable as it didn't try too hard on the flavors. My burrito (done on the panini grill) was well prepared with sausage, cheese, egg and salsa..I 86'ed the sour cream. It was pretty tasty but for the salsa detail. It wasn't ruinous by any means, but, my guess is the salsa is a jarred product readily available at your local grocery. Make something of your own with chipotle or poblano or whatever to kick it up a notch.. I suppose this place isn't kicking out burritos at warp speed though. A minor detail overall.
Ultimately, I was quite pleased with my visit. It was relaxed and there was a daily newspaper. All a good coffee shop should be.
I love getting a tall chai tea and sitting at the puzzle table and letting my mind relax with puzzle pieces. They have a lot of takeout over the noon hour so be prepared to wait a bit for the kitchen to catch up. If it is worth it.
My favorite breakfast burrito in the midwest! Great service, great specialty coffee drinks and amazing paninis. Perfect chais in the winter and smoothies in the summer. Yum! Will always come here when I am in Monroe. Can't beat the atmosphere.
Salmon salad..yuk. small thin salmon over cooked, homemade croutons= 2 small pieces of last night's garlic bread. Sad my company gave us gift certificates to support local businesses..not worth it
I love this cafe. They have great coffee but also wonderful dishes for breakfast and lunch. They clearly try to keep food on the healthier side and they offer vegetarian options.
Coffee was great so was the breakfast burrito, very pleasant and relaxing setting, free Wi-Fi, if you want refills go for the bottomless cup option. Can be tricky to find if you've not been here before. It's set back in a strip mall next to Chevy dealer.

I love this place. The owner is as hard of worker as I've ever seen and the food is phenomenal

Great place to meet friends for coffee or lunch. A little slow today because of the crowd.
