Nice, cozy place out where you wouldn't expect a coffee shop. Plenty of parking. Coffee was really good and staff were very friendly. Definitely worth trying, especially if you want somewhere to kill time.

Nice quiet cafe. I was going there to sit in a comfy chair and read a book. Their lounge/comfy chair area is a little cramped and the chairs could stand to be a bit more bodaciously puffy. On a saturday morning there were a number of families with small kids and they didn't seem at all out of place. There is an outdoor area which I've never sat at, but I'd be a tiny bit concerned about noise from Nesbitt and Verona road if I was looking for a quiet sit rather than talking with people.

Great coffee. I'd recommend a medium roasted, a few of the darker roasts almost are over roasted, and can get a slight burnt taste. Overall though, a good place for a cup of coffee and the staff are wonderful

I had been several times and though the ambiance is nice, the service isn’t great. The place is clean, food and coffee are decent. Today however I encountered a rude barista having a bad morning, who has finally made my decision to stop coming here.

I really wonder who is posting all of these reviews. Their espresso is not good, and I've tried it several different ways (latte, mocha, etc.). One day I went after Pilates and got a mocha and disliked it so much I threw it away and went to Barrique's down the road and had about the best mocha of my life.
The baked goods are pretty good but the made to order food is not. They take forever (how many hipsters does it take to make a sandwich -- and more importantly how long?) and the value isn't great. I ordered a Turkey BLT wrap once and there was no bacon on it. I took it back to the counter and the associate advised me that it's a turkey and not bacon wrap. I pointed to the description indicating that it included bacon. He took the wrap back, added 2 small (less than a 1/4 strip) pieces of bacon to 1/2 of the wrap and left the other 1/2 untouched. Thanks.
I go to Pilates next door nearly every day and almost always have coffee afterwards. I've been failed too many times by True so now it is Barrique's or Starbucks. I really want to buy them and buy local, but they just can't get it right.

The coffee is freshly roasted and ground so it's absolutely delicious. The service is quick and friendly.

My favorite coffee in Madison, this quiet coffee shop roasts great coffee. You can buy beans right here or during your shopping trips to Hyvee or Metcalfs.

The staff is friendly, good service. The turkey chipolte wrap was fresh and tasty, the side of greens had too much dressing (I forgot to ask for it on the side).
