So glad this coffee shop opened up on Broadway! The space is perfect for hanging out solo or meeting up with someone. Coffee and espresso are great, and they have a pretty good selection of hot breakfast items.

The coffee roasted at True Coffee is outstanding! We subscribe to their coffee club to ensure we always have solid coffee on-hand. Their customer service is also fantastic - Reid and his team are a pleasure to work with.

Love the coffee, the atmosphere and I love supporting local small business. Skip the chain coffee, bring your business here!

OH MY GOD!!! I can't say enough good things about this place - I've been to SO many cafes as a University student (including across Europe during study abroad, mmm), and this place definitely is in my top 5 all-time favorite places to go when I'm craving that perfect cafe atmosphere. It's not loud, so you can study, but it's definitely a relaxed atmosphere, comfortable to come here with a group of people and chat and still not bother anyone. ALSO, there is a wonderful outside patio area that is just gorgeous to sit at on a sunny day, with hanging flowers - you feel like you're in a special place!

Their coffee is AMAZING! And with the location in Fitchburg, you can even ask to be let in to see their roasting machine and all the coffee bags in the back. Super cool!
Also, I judge cafes based on how they make their hot chocolates as well (I've been to cafes that made REALLY bad hot chocolates, and if you screw up a hot chocolate, that's pretty bad, because they're not even that hard to make) - and THIS place has one of the most delicious hot chocolates that I've ever had.They don't charge you for whipped cream, and they definitely don't skimp either! YUM!

Also, their food is a tad expensive, but it's still so worth it, because it's TO DIE FOR. I've never had such great cafe food - it's on par with a nice restaurant. Their paninis are amazing.

The staff are friendly, attentive, just amazing! And I love the artwork they hang up around the place - they showcase local artists and jewelers.

I'm here for work and the hotel coffee was just not cutting it. I'm so glad True is near enough to walk to; its really good. They have nice folks and a comfortable space with some handmade items for sale in the back. They'll give you a free refill if you bring in your cup the same day. I thought that was awesome. I'll be back!

We love True Coffee! The selection, freshness, in-house roasting, organic options, and attention to detail are fantastic. The owners are fabulous people who support local businesses and their coffee is the best around.

The coffee is okay, the service is okay, the tables seemed clean, but every so often you’ll find them going out of their way to make your day.

This is the best coffee on the South West side of Madison. Roasting takes place in the back and the fresh roasted beans are available for purchase up front. I am personally a fan of their Ethiopian coffees and when I'm lucky enough to find it, they have a very good Kenyan as well.
