Dali's Cafe

Beautiful building, very cool atmosphere. Prices are good for what you get. My daughter had some awesome pancakes and the skillet breakfasts we're great. I just had some fruit and a bagel which were good too.

Altogether, it was a memorable visit in beautiful downtown Manitowoc.

Great atmosphere in an open dining area. The the food was served quickly, hot, non greasy with the eggs cooked to perfection. The country friend steak had a light lemon flavored gravy l would order next time. (My wife shared hers). The waitress was attentive to our welfare. A real gem. Well done Dali's !

It is a beautiful Cafe, the food was closer to horrible then ok I had the Ruban which I would have to say was the most horrible Ruban I have ever had, my husband had the beef stir fry which he said left a burnt taste in his mouth. Also, when offered chicken noodle soup I was not given it till, she came back with the check which I took it to go. The service seemed cold and unfriendly. No one came to check to see if we were even enjoying the food or I could have asked for soup with my meal.

I wanted to love this place. It was good but not amazing. I felt like it was overpriced for the quality and disliked they were going to charge $2 for an extra plate for my 2 yo (but they were up front about it). I'll try somewhere else vs going back.

The food we had was absolutely delicious. The place was decorated nicly, welcoming, good for families and/or groups. Really clean, a lot of riety of dishes, and staff was very nice. I like that they also had a variety of kids meals. I did feel bad, as the day we went it was right after the lunch hour, and there was only one waitress working at the time. She was working super hard, but we did have a bit of a wait to get served (30+ minutes). Completely understand, but wanted to mention it for future reference as we have kids and patience is not always great with little ones. The food was really good though, so it was worth the wait.

I was in town visiting with my 2 kids and was very disappointed when we went for breakfast. When we first walked in it was like no one wanted to seat us. The place was basically dead. POSITIVE...the atmosphere and place was gorgeous. After 5 minutes someone came to seat us. Waitress took our order fairly quick and the food was brought to our table in 5 minutes. To my disbelief on how quick it was my food was burnt and tasteless. My children's food was soggy from the pineapples and juices from them that was on top of their pancakes. My bill came with in 5 minutes after we got our food while we were still eating. We felt rushed. After being disappointed we cleared our table and stacked our dishes to go pay. We waited 8 minutes at the counter to pay after the waitress/hostess looked at me and started clearing tables and cleaning them making us wait. When she was done she came and took my payment never asking how everything was, without looking at me with her head down the entire time. No eye contact what so ever. I even left a 40 percent tip after my whole ordeal. I will never go back and would not recommend for people of color to go there because I have a feeling that had a lot to do with my service and how we were treated.

The crepes and coffee were excellent.

Usually visit once a week for breakfast. Food is great, ambiance is unique (especially in Manitowoc where dark bar ambiance is the norm). Good place for a leisurely breakfast and conversation. Weekends are busy and service can get slow. Weekdays are perfect. Staff is friendly and coffee keeps coming!
