Dali's Cafe

I did not personally eat here but any business with a sign like this gets 5 stars in my book! Way to go, setting a wonderful example of an exemplary business during these times! Thank you!

Such a pleasant surprise! Great atmosphere. Good breakfast. Friendly wait staff. I like the decor and tall ceilings. Soft piano music is a nice touch. A sign on the window says: For those in need we invite you inside for a cup of soup and a breadstick.

Comfy little place. Was there for breakfast. Just wish they would have had omelets and skillets.

Great service and delicious breakfast. Interior decoration is beautiful and tasty.

Went to dali's for breakfast. I really wanted to like this place as some reviews claim that it is the best breakfast in Manitowoc. The dining room is beautiful, and the two pancakes I ate (for $8) were okay. That is where the nice things I have to say about my experience stops. Our service was lacking of any attention. We we rushed in answering our order. To the point of not being able to say what we wanted as far as modifications went. Never checked in with us at any point of our meal. Food was over and undercooked as far as what different things you tried. Most of the food had no flavor. And for what I was charged for our meal I felt like I could had saved $50 and made breakfast myself at home. I will not be back.

Busy, busy! Great food, lovely interior and ambience. Service is slowed by low staffing and great demand. Would go again!

Great breakfast, service was quick, Really like the building.

Was in town for a weekend getaway. Was told the Dali Cafe had the best breakfast in Manitowoc. We walked in and the restaurant was gorgeous. We walked in first however the couple behind us was seated immediately. We waited a few minutes and then was reluctantly seated. As we walked to our table we were stared at by the few people that were there. Our server walked past us several times and didn't greet us. She had two other tables that were well into their meals. So busy it was not. She finally came over to us and asked what we wanted. No greeting, or introduction just an abrupt request for our order. Our food came rather quickly. It was okay, but definitely not the best. We weren't checked on during our meal. Didn't receive a single refill. When we went to pay the young woman didn't say a word or look at us. I got the distinct impression we weren't welcomed. The sign Whites Only definitely hung on their door in the past, and the spirit of it is still alive at the Dali Cafe.

This is my new favorite place to eat, and I plan to go weekly. Everything from the food, lighting and atmosphere is straight out of a movie, I have never been so relaxed in a restaurant. Their breakfast is incredible and if you're looking for an amazing brunch you're in the right place.

We were there right at 7am. My husband commented twice how much he liked the coffee. (It wasn't weak or bitter).
He had country fried steak &eggs. He liked it but the sauce was sweeter than he likes. My over easy egg, bacon & hash brown were just like i like.
Waiter/owner was pleasant, helpful& efficient .
He also was glad the location was so close to where we stayed overnight & the river walkway.
