Issues -
1. A coffee shop that doesn't have mugs for dine in customers. Wow. When I asked for it, the answer I got was - Oh, we feel like most coffee shops don't have them! When I pressed harder, I was told I can bring my own. Question to the shop - Do you guys take your own dinnerware to restaurants when you eat there? How would you feel if you buy wine at the bar and it was served in a paper cup?
I mean really?? Please use paper/plastic cups for to go customers but the dine in customers can certainly use porcelain mugs. Coffee tastes better in a porcelain mug and we pollute the environment less. Why use plastic/paper cups/lids/forks/spoon/knives for dine in at all?
2. They didn't have a traditional style Macchiato (4oz) or cortado (4.5oz). The ones they listed on their menu were 12oz. I am disappointed that their Americanized espresso (Starbucks inspired) drinks have a completely wrong recipe.
The good -
1. Ordered a flat white. The espresso was extracted correctly, the notes were pleasant and sweetness was there. But that paper cup...ughh!
2. I am vegan and they were able to substitute eggs with plant based egg for my sandwich! The sandwich was good!

Great food (including vegetarian), $15 bottomless mimosas on weekends (2 hrs), adorable atmosphere. The blended lattes are delicious, despite me not really liking coffee.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I called in an order for two chai lattes and 2 paninis for ~$35. One chai was lukewarm because they made it presumably soon after the order was placed. The other they made after I arrived and paid. Both drinks had a good amount of undissolved powdered chai mix in the bottom.
The paninis were supposed to come with mixed greens with balsamic dressing. This was not included at all.
I noticed that, at one time, they had markings on the floor indicating 6ft spacing for social distancing because there was shadow on the floor where they were. But the markings have been removed and some other patrons did not social distance while waiting in line.
I’m disappointed because this place has good reviews, but I won’t return or recommend it. It was expensive and most definitely not worth the money.

Honestly the prices are steep and kinda unfounded; the food, while tasty, is very clearly premade and reheated. If you're gonna charge $12 for a sandwich plus tip with no servers, maybe make sure it's not cold in the middle?
However, I can't exactly blame them for it, since the place was packed. Clearly their customers are willing to pay a premium for large windows, couches, and a huge variety of things to order. And their commitment to local sourcing is impressive.
I'd be really interested to know what their starting wage is. They're banking on the nearby development to be successful, this equipment and decor ain't cheap. If they just bit the bullet and invested in an actual chef, this could easily be elevated to a destination spot. Less branded merchandise as you walk in the door, but a higher quality product.

Stopped here on our way through town to get a coffee. Was very impressed with the vibe and atmosphere both inside and outside. Seems like a great place to have a coffee, beer, or wine.

I may be bias because I work here, BUT I feel that we have amazing staff who do whatever they can to create an amazing experience and increase customer retention. I think the ambiance of the space creates a perfect place for eating lunch, cramming before finals, or just hanging out. The music is always good and I've never been disappointed by any bakery item. My family really enjoys the convenience of this location, and the exclusive Level 5 Vegan Donuts.

Twisted Grounds is a great coffee and food place! I love all the options they provide. Cold brews to lemonade and baked goods to freshly made food! Plus it supports many local businesses and has a great aesthetic

Drinks are fabulous, breakfast sandwiches are out of this world, atmosphere is great. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a Latte, sandwich, or chill place to hangout. The only real issue is that my wife now has a sesame seed stuck in her teeth.

Great new coffee shop and outdoor space! The staff was friendly and the seating outside is so nice. Lots of drinks to choose from as well as a nice refrigerated area for snacks and things. I tried a vegan blueberry muffin, which was delicious.

Tasty bakery items and delicious coffee. I love that they offer some vegan options as well and feature Shanty Town bakery items on select days. I still have a lot more drinks that I would like to try but luckily I live not too far away. I have enjoyed all of the drinks so far. The Dirty Zebra Chai was super sweet but was such a nice treat. I can't wait to go back this week to try out more offerings!
