Peet's Coffee & Tea

Came to sit by the lake and grab a coffee, but wasn't able to. Unfortunately only open to UW students right now due to covid which was a (understandable) bummer. Staff at the check-in stand said that after graduation next weekend it will be open to the public again. Staff was apologetic and helpful so I will give 3 stars for now. Hope to come back and actually experience it soon!

The lady was really mean to me and my friend. The friend has social anxiety so I was ordering for her and she forgot her glasses so had to read the menu to her and the lady employee rolled her eyes and showed very negative attitude towards us

Night shift was very nice, lady named Julia working morning shift is very rude, customer in front of me spoke with accent, she was making fun of him.

Great place to grab a good cup of coffee while studying at Mem U

I went to Pete's today at the Memorial Union in Madison, WI. I got a medium coffee with soy milk but I got black coffee handed to me so I had to go back up. I told the guy who had poured it and he handed me a carton of Pacific Soy Milk to put in my very full cup. I put as much as I could in (not much) then I drank some down and went back up to put more in. It had been 5 minutes but the guy had forgotten the whole incident and acted as if I were trying to steal extra soy. I explained I had paid for soy but he had forgotten it and handed me a carton to add it myself but that I couldn't add much.... he just looks at me (no apologies or any words come from his mouth) and puts the carton down again. I pour my soy in and leave. Wow! Horrific service at 12:30 pm Sunday, 10/14/2018.

I wanted to try their fog drink so I think it was the original I ordered over ice and I got 3 pumps of their syrup and 2 pumps of the caramel syrup and it tasted just like tiramisu. So if anyone out there likes tiramisu then go to peets and order just that... "you'll thank me later" as monk would say.

Good coffee! Good location for students to relax and study during finals week!

I always order the green tea mojito, it's just green tea and lemonade but it is very refreshing. Ask for light ice because the staff tends to give more ice than beverage when they are just filling orders back to back

Good coffee, but not as good as other Peet’s coffee shop I have tried. Staff is fine. Place and environment is good.

Decent coffee but expensive for students, there are much cheaper places to get equally good coffee that's still on the meal plan
