I love coffee and compared to many many places in the area, this is lacking in a few ways. Don’t get me wrong, it’s cozy and they have great gelato and pastries, but this is quite literally the worst London fog I’ve ever had. It tastes like watered down milk with ice, a distant whisper of earl grey, no vanilla, and certainly no lavender. The pastry I got (blueberry Danish) was quite good. The other issue I had was this menu… I have no idea what’s going on. When I ordered I was asked what size I wanted. Then I got a look from the barista who didn’t seem pleased when I asked what sizes they have. All the menu boards look like this, no pricing or sizes are displayed. The counter has menus listing food and prices but no drink sizes or prices that I could find. I’d stop by again for a pastry or gelato, but not for coffee or tea

Very loud atmosphere and good for families and children. Had a English muffin breakfast sandwich that was small and took them at least 20 minutes to make for take out. Breakfast muffins and donut selection was very small, no croissants or cinnamon rolls. Would not recommend if you want something to go.

Love the new space!
Coffee was perfect everyone loved their treats.
Would love if you had a gf/vegan treat option but understand it's a niche.

I used to hang out at this cafe nearly every day with my friend when we were in college. They have ice creams and good paninis. The only down side is the parking as they don’t have enough parking space.

What can I say? Everything about this place is amazing. The staff was wonderful and friendly. The food was homemade and fantastic. My mom loved her coffee. And they have live music. There's comfortable indoor seating. And it's kid friendly. Excellent local business that supports the community. One of Madison's best hidden treasures.

This place convinced me that the Midwest has no idea what coffee is. I asked for a latte and the barista was confused. I had to specify that it was a shot of espresso with milk. She ended up giving me a cold brew. The worst part is, it wasn't even good. Be for real.

Typical cozy coffee cafe with a welcomed presence. Hot food, respectable espresso and worth the wait for this traditional cafe. One of the few left that still hand press to make their espresso and have baristas with personalities. 🙂 well done.

They are so nice! It was pouring rain outside and I dropped my coffee. They offered to make it for free again even though it was totally my fault. They also have an amazing pastry section!

Cozy place for a good cup of coffee. Comfortable chairs and a nice little fire going in the corner to keep warm. I tried the croissant breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, and cheese - and the brioche with sausage patty, egg, and cheese. Both were good, however I don't think croissants are meant for a hot press... Seemed like it took something away from how it's supposed to be... Light and airy. The brioche is definitely the way to go, would come back for that. Also had a Boston cream doughnut, and that was magical, fresh and delicious.

Rude and unhelpful service :(
Asked for the ingredients in the smoothies and got told “fruit and milk on ice” but there was NO FRUIT in the smoothie

The drink was $6 for a small!!!

I saw them making it and it was made with juice from concentrate NOT REAL FRUIT

I expressed with the workers that I am unhappy that it’s “SMOOTHIE” and they all did not care about my experience or concerns

I do NOT RECOMMEND coming here
Rude service, misinformation, bad tasting, and over priced “smoothie”

I wish I could rate -10/10
