Come Back In

Got wasted for cheap on a Wednesday night drinking the Long Island Iced Teas. At only 3 bucks a pop, you better be careful! Had a great time. Ate 50 cent chicken wings that were pretty good. Would definitely recommend!

Very good burgers and sandwiches, amazing fries. They share a kitchen and ownership with Essen House nextdoor and will take their coupons which is really nice. Good live music, Wheelhouse on Tuesdays is a blast.

Horrible service drinks were wrong food was way over cooked asked for sourdough toast given white bread with flour on it. Waitress didn't know what a lot of the food and some of the drinks that were ordered. Asked for a beer that is advertised all over but no longer is served there crown and sprite ordered given a totally different drink. Do not recommend this place.

Great place. The Monday night open mic was fun and the dart board added to the hang!

Utterly disappointing.

A few months ago I went to the Come Back In for dinner and drinks around 8-9pm with a friend since it is the main hang out place for some of friends. When we went in to eat, the food was cold and extremely salty and the place was filthy with popcorn all over the floor.

The last time we went we visited primarily for drinks and free popcorn as well as to meet up with friends. We went outside for a break and I was approached by an inebriated guest of the bar that started with harassing me verbally and proceeded to sexually harass me in front of my husband. Since it was close to bar time, my husband grabbed the bouncer to remove the guest without calling the cops or handling the situation ourselves. The bouncer came out, took our full drinks and locked us outside with the fool who continued to push against my friends and me. Not only did the bouncer create a threatening environment for us, but also threw away $20 of our money worth of drinks. It was a nightmare. Who I presume was the owner or bar manager (man in his 70’s) eventually came out as we screamed to have the bouncer let us back in and finally settled the situation where the bouncer left, again, and hid back inside.

I have never been so scared in my life. Won’t be going back...

Great joint. Live music is fun, the crowd and staff are nice and they have a neat little billiards room in the back!

Do you like German food and love beer? How about karaoke? Then this is the place for you. Coma and get a boot of beer or a mug of it fit for a king. They have a huge selection of stouts, porter, lagers, IPAs and more... the food is delicious. Did I mention they have the best karaoke in madison every sunday night. Be prepared to hear some great singers and some fun songs. Be warned though get here early if you want to sing multiple times cause this place fills up quick and you may only get 2 turns in 4hrs. Always a great time great people great food music and beer!

Really Great Breakfast!!! Huge menu! Very nice, flavorful Bloody Mary!!! Sarah was a great bartender and wonderful Bloody Chemist!!!

Tasty, affordable eats and friendly staff. My partner and I come for brunch (Saturday/Sunday morning) at least once a month. How could you turn down $3 mimosas, screwdrivers, and bloody marys with brunch?

Went to CBI last night and got really poor service. Not that the waitress wasn't friendly, but there were three separate 20 minute stretches where she completely forgot about us, including after she cleared our plates and we just wanted to get our bill to leave. We ended up having to ask another server to help us, and our expected 45 minute dinner took closer to 2 hours. Oh well.

Great tap beer selection. Kitchen open until 10 plus a late night menu. I've had the Reuben, it had a think, high quality piece of beef on there. Have had a couple soups, including the chicken Florentine, both of which were excellent.

Last night had a one of their burritos (Tuesday special for $3.50) which was pretty ok, and the portabella burger which came in puddle of juices and had ok flavor and texture - strong balsamic flavor and maybe a hint of soy sauce/braggs (not sure about the later).

Looking forward to going for BRUNCH (and watching some basketball) rather than dinner (nothing jumped off the page). Definitely recommend the soups. I'll be back despite the poor rate (due to the terrible service).
