I have been to The Coffee Tree many many times and I love it everytime. Service is great, very friendly staff. The food and coffees I have tried always tastes amazing. Usually, I don't get pastries (although the cinnamon rolls always look delicious). However, I was surprised to see Conchas today, I could not help myself, I had to have one. The moment I tried the chocolate concha, I wanted to go back for more! Best concha I have ever had! I hope they keep it in the menu ❤️
You will find us there nearly every Saturday for a late morning pastry and cappuccino. It is everything a small town coffee spot should be. The baristas are competent, the pastries are ample, and the other menu items are clever and tasty.
It's a great place for the people of our town to gather and is part of the core that makes Lancaster feel like a vibrant community.
As an added bonus, check out their Facebook page for the daily dad joke.
The Coffee Tree is an amazing coffee shop for anyone and everyone of all ages! The owners are very friendly, kind, and very caring! They are very open to any feedback and always want the best for all of their customers! You will not be disappointed!!! The coffee is amazing and I love the vegan burrito! The cinnamon rolls really hit the spot!
Waited 30 minutes for a panini, 2 soups and cappuccino. Server brought food out to 2 wrong tables before finding who it goes to. Second server brought out food and it was apparently wrong and it was sent back to the kitchen. I got my drink before the lady ahead of us got any of her order. Can't get 16oz soup to go, only 12oz. Ordered the 12oz and received a 4oz? That was half full. The order was wrong (she never repeated the order back to us so we didn't know it was wrong) so I didn't bother to wait longer. Asked if the soup is only filled half way normally and she said yes. The whole place was smoky and burning my eyes from what I assume was paninis being made. Panini was good with mustard, without mustard would have been dry and ttasteless. Orders are set on the counter and called out. A strawberry smoothie sat up there for a good 10 minutes before they called it out again. A lady then came up and took it. NAMES NEED TO BE CALLED! They don't ask for names or even give you an order number. My cappuccino was called out and I asked 2 other people waiting if it was theirs. They said no so I assumed it was mine. 2 ladies came in after we waited about 20 minutes and asked about the wait time. The order taker said 40 MINUTES! Not worth the wait. The mushroom bisque soup was good, even though it was super small and filled half way. The chairs by the window, you almost sink to the floor in them. I was so excited about this place, I will try again in a few months to see if it makes changes and update my review then. And yes the soup in the pictures was how we received it, none drank/eaten out of it.
This was my second visit and the staff is wonderful, food is cooked to order always fresh, my kids LOVE ❤ the smoothies. I am not typically a coffee drinker, but the Mayan hot with oat milk is delicious. So far I have only had the Goat toast on GF bread twice, it comes with apples slices and honey. This is a great snack that fills you up, looking forward to trying more of the amazing food.
The staff is always so kind and helpful. Everything I've eaten there has been delicious, from the high quality tea to the pastries. My favorite sandwich is the turkey guac. Real fruit smoothies too!
Follow them on Facebook, they post their specials every day with a great joke 😁
Nice little coffee shop. My Vegan Burrito was wonderful as was my Pumpkin Iced Tea. All tea's are sugar free [Which I like] Just add your own sugar, if you want sweetened. A very nice addition to our little town! We will go again.
Sweet little coffee shop. My grandmother and I sat in the front window and chatted for an hour. My iced pistachio latte was delicious that I had to order a second one for the road. The freshly squeezed juice was so good too! We will definitely be back.
