I visited a friend from out of town and had the misfortune of stopping here. Do you ever go to a place once and it disappoints you, but it's convenient so you go back despite your misgivings and then are disappointed in yourself? That's this place.
The first time I was brusquely served a plain iced coffee whose taste was reminiscent of what I imagine water that you ashed a cigarette into, forgot about, then took a sip, and then you were like "BLAWGH!!!" Would taste like... except in this case it was actually iced coffee that I unfortunately paid for.
The person who poured it appeared to be an adult mall goth with dyed black hair, and she seemed both stressed and irritated with me for being there....absurdly, I was one of two customers in the place at that moment.
A few months ago I tried a simple hot black coffee which had a bizarre hormel chili like aftertaste. This was served by a man with dark hair who, before I ordered, was going on a lengthy political diatribe and I had to awkwardly stand there before he noticed me.
I wouldn't suggest this place.

Came for breakfast. Friendly staff, delicious fresh food with good options, good portions and real coffee. It's a good price with a nice vibe. Definitely coming back when I’m in the area.

Best coffee (EVP) in town and the family owners Kim and Paul are simply the best. If you’re thinking of going to your normal blah Starbucks or Caribou experience, don’t, and step up to the Oasis Cafe. Open for coffee, tea and GREAT food carry-out even in these uncertain times.
Help support Oasis!

Good, high-quality food. Good coffee. Very friendly staff. My only gripes would be that there isn't enough outdoor seating and the wifi gets full very quickly during peak times.

Great specialty coffee drinks, friendly service and tasty, affordable breakfast and lunch menu. I love the breakfast burrito, the PB&J, and of course the Paul's Pel'Meni they have here too (only on weekends).

This is by far my favorite local cafe! Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff that always welcomes you with a smile. Not to mention the best dirty chai in all of the Madison area!

I've been going here almost every Thursday and Friday for the past couple months and always receive great customer service. The owner, Kim, is always so sweet!! My favorite cafe by far!

Low key cafe serving great coffee and breakfast pastries. The giant cookies are amazing! Plenty of street parking. Ample seating inside and outdoors.
