I never even considered the idea that scones didn't have to be hard, a few days old and dry. They make them fresh in the shop. Now rethinking my pastry life over.

Amazing small town find ! I got a hot caramel mocha and I think it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. My husband got a customizable energy drink and that was also incredible. Friendly staff. We are visiting and I just wish this was closer to where we live cause I would be a loyal customer!

We went to this shop today on a mission. To purposefully try the Spiced Chai Latte and the Cinnamon roll. We live in Altoona.

First a little background on me. I am a Chai and Cinnamon roll nut and very picky. I have made my own Chai with the best Indian recipes out there. Roasting and grinding the whole spices at home. I have also tried every cinnamon roll possible with in miles. With that said…

Life Perks Coffee co has one of the three best Spiced Chai Lattes in the Tri county area and I have tried them everywhere. Most of them I would never go back for as they are far inferior. If you are a Chai Latte fan give it a try with oat milk, as it is one of the best around!

Next the 1/2 lb cinnamon roll. My goodness they are big and sharable! They are topped with a cream cheese glazed frosting. I am partial to Buttercream on cinnamon rolls but the cream cheese flavor was a pleasant change. Big, home made style awesomeness, worth the drive!

This place is awesome! The owner is the sweetest lady, her attitude alone is worth stopping for but the food and drinks will keep you coming back!

I have not had their breakfast or lunch, according to the reviews I will have to give it a try. I do know 5 things: Staff is super friendly- Prices are lower than all competitors- Smoothies get a 3 thumbs up from my daughter- the excellent Sumatra Blend Decaf coffee fixes my urges- and last but not least it's LOCAL!

We travel a little bit all over the country and had one of the best dirty vanilla chai lattes at Life Perks.

Be sure to visit this little shop with coffee, ice cream, smoothies, lunch specials and bakery items. Now, when I say bakery items, I’m talking melt in your mouth deliciousness that you don’t want to miss. They’ll have you coming back for more! They have a variety of items to suit many tastes! Stop off for a coffee or lunch, and then go enjoy it while taking in the view from Mound Hill. You’ll be glad you did!
