Ordered 1 pancake, got 2. Hash brown's went done. Then got charged almost $10 for a tip and I left $3 on the table
That's $13 tip on a $17 bill.
Probably won't stop there again.
We're living on social security. Weren't done

Very good breakfasts and the omelets are usually outstanding. They are generally busy but we have never had to wait for a table. I haven't had lunch at the Unique Cafe yet.

Oh my...where does one start? If you're into old collectables like I am and like to reminisce, the place is lined with them...just like home. Service was swift and the food was served in ample portions...just like home. The taste?...again, just like home. One feels you are eating with family, not strangers. So if you wanna feel at home when you're not at home, this is the place to be. My "out of state" family are looking forward to coming here.

This is a unique cafe as it says, the decor is awesome, many signs, antiques, and memorabilia.
The menu has many choices we had biscuits and gravy with hash. Towns and wife had an omelet, both were great, wonder coffee.
Cup was always full.
Reasonable price.

The only place open for breakfast. Food was ok, took a while to come out, though. The bacon was tough. The Doyle's Concoction (reuben omelet) was pretty decent. The sausage gravy was homemade and quite good. At one point, I thought I was going to have to get my own coffee refill. Coffee was typical weak, midwest farmer coffee.

Been here once and I was amazed by all of it. Watching your food being made. The decor and atmosphere was incredible. Food was scrumptious! Would definitely go back there and recommend it to others!!

This place is exactly what the company states "Unique".
Food is AWESOME! Cannot go wrong with any meal choice, portions are perfect, staff are friendly and the atmosphere is well unique. Gotta love all the old decor and antiques; always something to look at! Highly recommend to anyone traveling through or locals :)

Always good food. Hometown atmosphere with friendly service

November 2020 Update: This used to be a go-to spot for me on my motorcycle rides along the Wisconsin River. Apparently right before COVID, the restaurant changed owners, and in the meantime, all the decor is gone and the place feels like any other breakfast diner now. Kinda disappointing.
On top of that, pancakes (cakes themselves still good) were served with nasty high fructose "syrup", no longer real maple syrup. It's still fine, and we enjoyed our meal, but Unique Cafe is no longer terribly unique, and certainly not worth being a destination eatery as in days past. Oh well.

Original Review:
Great breakfast. French toast with real Wisconsin maple syrup!

Seems like it's more of a sandwich shop. Sunday only 2 special meals and the rest was sandwiches off of menu. Probably not my first pick on Sunday.
