This place is truly a hidden gem on the Court House Square of Baraboo! We were impressed with all of the old soda fountain highlight pieces and the signage describing their history. The location has been beautifully preserved/refreshed. You can almost imagine a soda jerk from the 50's making your order.
Today we were not really hungry and in pursuit of iced coffee, which was brewed fresh, full bodied and wonderful. My one suggestion as someone who drinks the largest size possible and often a refill, 12 and 16 oz cups aren't very much coffee when you add ice. You may want to consider larger sized cups for iced coffee drinks.
Although we did not eat ice cream today, it all looked creamy and decadent. We saw it being ordered as milkshakes, waffle cones, cups, sundaes...The customers that we saw eat it from a 2 year old toddler to an oldster apparently in their 80's, was smiling and enjoying the experience.
The place was lovely, the staff was friendly, patient, accommodating, quick.
If you are looking to support a local business just a short distance from the commercial strip that the Dells has become...head down to Baraboo and enjoy some really good service, an excellent product in a beautiful authentic location!
We will be back for the ice cream, as it looks soo good, and all the comments were that it is excellent. And if you are a coffee drinker, their site roasted beans produce a smooth, bold, balanced flavor that creates an excellent cup of coffee!!!

Stopped in and enjoyed some ice cream! The glass container made the ice cream taste even better! Loved the decor and the team was super friendly. You gotta give the Tin Roof a visit!

Cool Old-Timey ice cream parlor! Had a delicious shake and malt, love the history and old architecture! Nice sundae bench out front for a selfie or picture with the fam!

Had an amazing hot chocolate while in town for the murder mystery weekend. Highly recommended for hot beverages. Ice cream looked good but it was 34 degrees 🤷 will have to go back when the weather warms up.

Take a step back in time to a simpler period in US history. Great ice cream, sodas, shakes, phosphates, etc. Period decor and music of a 1950s sundae shop. Bourbon pecan is my favorite flavor!

1 high schooler on staff at a time. 30 min wait to order just to be told they don’t know how to make a soda. Then proceeded to help a line of 10+ people who came in after us

Anywhere we go my wife always finds the best dessert place and she got it right again. They have tons of flavors and are very affordable. If visiting the dells take the short trip here to get an awesome treat.

Cute little ice cream parlor in downtown Baraboo. A wide selection of flavors, attentive service, and a tidy environment push me to give 5 stars. The only downsides I noticed were a lacking of decoration or perhaps character if that makes sense. That negative factor can be attributed to the fact it recently opened and that is to change soon enough I'm certain.
Update: After some expected facelifts in the form of wall decorations my "negative factor" that remove a star has been nullified. Small ice cream joint in Baraboo that I'd happily support.

Really kind and accommodating staff. I highly recommend their milkshakes. The inside is really pretty and old-timey. Ice cream is extremely delicious and sweet. I go often with my friends and family and am delighted every time! :)
