Balsam Lake Cafe

Delicious food, menu with good variety and all menus served all day long. Good service. Very clean and lovely comfortable community atmosphere. I LOVE this cafe! It just doesn't get any better than than this!

It's ok, took Sooooo long for the food to come I forgot what I ordered. Expensive for the amount of food I got. I ordered pancakes and on the menu it said two plate sized pancakes. When it came, I actually asked if those were the children's sized pancakes. Seriously, no where near plate sized. Not worth the price paid. I very much doubt I will go back.

Awesome little place, with amazing food. The owners and staff are some of the nicest people I know. I highly recommend this too anyone who is hungry for a good home cooked meal.

I tried the everything omelet and was the best one ever. Seems to be an awesome place that's hidden in plain sight. Would recommend this pace. Makes you feel of being at home while there to.

Great family resteraunt, coffee, wonderful omelet, pancake with a unique homefry, I think a drive thru, would bennifit, even without a speaker, fresh coffee,real fresh sandwiches, and every thing else, on the fly.

Don't go there if you're not local. They will walk right by and not clean a empty table off for you. The waitress couldn't even say good morning. But when a local walks in it's good morning and special greetings for them. Our group of seven walked out after 10 minutes of no service. Horrible

I realize this is only a 5-star rating system, but would give them more stars if I could since Angela went above and beyond for me. I was camping in the area, but needed to work as well. The campground I was at had poor internet and cell phone coverage, so I went into town and found this little café. Angela let me work from the beautiful, quaint patio for two days using their internet connection. She checked in on me through the day to make sure I was comfortable. The food was amazing and so was the hospitality.

Great atmosphere and awesome food. Biscuits and gravy were the best.
