Love this place and am thinking we should keep it in mind as regular stop on our drives out of town and back. The coffee is excellent, with a strong bold taste in the latte (not too much, just right!) While the surrounding area is not the cutest since it’s right by the highway, the place itself has charm and character, and I felt their heart and caring through the inspirational quotes at the top of the walls and also through the safe covid precautions. It just felt like real caring for customers and I appreciate it so much! Honestly I was nervous to stop in Wisconsin because of the recent increase in cases and knowing there is no consistent precautions there. Seeing the staff in masks, line spacing markers, sanitizer, just put me at ease. Thank you, Cabin Coffee!

Looking back after a couple months, I'm still annoyed with this experience. Wanted iced coffee, given hot coffee with a long wait. Never returning. The coffee was not great. Hope your experience is better.

Not impressed. Paid $15+ for two dirty chai lattes after being told two different prices. The drinks themselves were bland. There was no chai or coffee taste. We won’t be returning.

Coffee is good, pretty easy to make a latte though; but the food here is not Good and I would stay away.

Hot ham and cheese was COLD one day, another day their chicken breast was also not fresh and hard, and a third and last time a muffin was “heated” and not only was it not hot it was cold to the touch and tasted like refrigerator.

Their food is not fresh!!!!

After an hour walk in the River Prarie park and extended walk/ bike trails, Cabin Coffee was a perfect cozy place to have an excellent
Cup of Java. Then after relaxing by the fireplace had a refreshing healthy sandwich and salad. Proportions were generous. Prices r definitely on the low end.
Pastries looked very inviting too. Will go back for breakfast and a cinnamon roll
Or the lemon / blueberry bread.

Cabin Coffee in Altoona always makes my favorite coffee just right! They are almost always friendly and I love the convenience of the drive-thru! Definitely my favorite coffee shop in this area!

Always good, one time they forgot our sandwich and when we went back two weeks later, they had a post it note on their computer to give us the sandwich next time, that was super cool

The pumpkin palomino is amazing & their chipotle chicken wrap is soooo good!! Super friendly staff & my dog loved his pup cup :)

The service is always wonderful, and the owner is awesome! Very peaceful and warm atmosphere to spend time with loved ones and friends.

As a business person looking for a place to settle in with the laptop and a set of headphones or meet a colleague, I recommend looking elsewhere.

Another customer asked that I leave the area I was sitting for over 30 minutes after I had been sitting quietly with headphones on while taking a conference call. After I packed my things I looked in the loud high traffic area only to find there were no open seats all. All the while 20 or more unused seats sat empty to accommodate 4 people. They were able to do so (for 8 hours as it turns out) by committing to buy coffee occasionally.

The attached picture is my recommendation for the room. Take out the doors and let patrons use the space!
